Great ingredients, but conflicting protein informatoin gives me little confidence.

I don't really know how much protein is in this powder. As noted in my pictures, the ingredients list says 26 grams per serving, and the Amazon listing says 24 grams per serving. To some, this may seem insignificant (it is less than a 10% difference, and, frankly, either number is impressive, particularly with just a gram of carbohydrates.

However, the fact that one ingredient has conflicting information like this leaves me to have little confidence in the remainder of the information provided. Is it really just 1 gram of carbs or is it a typo and it is 10 grams? The sodium, at 19% of the USRDA (or is that wrong) is very high to me.

As to the powder itself, like every vegan protein powder I've used, has a chalky consistency even when prepared in a blender. It is not quite flavorless - there is a bit of a flavor to it that I can't really identify but it is easily overcome by adding fruit to my drink.

If it has 24 or 26 grams of protein in a serving, it is impressive, but I'd really like to understand this discrepancy.

A little goes a long way

Low carbs and natural pea protein is really a refreshing drink. No chalky taste either. The overall taste is good in a smoothie. It’s easy to blend into oatmeal and no matter how you decide to use it, it blends in perfect and this 454g package should last a long time. On one test I added some fresh blueberries and a little milk and water for a refreshing non-thick smoothie using a blender. I blended it for 45 seconds to get the blueberries mixed well and added a couple teaspoons of Sane. I can’t wait to try this product in baking something.

I do not have anything bad to say about this product, and If you decide to try one out you may feel the same. It’s a good value!! Thanks Sane!!

Great source of protein

Excellent source of protein with a great ratio: 30g scoop yields 26g of protein. Based on the source material, I feel the sodium and carbohydrate levels are also reasonable. Since it is derived from yellow peas, the SANE protein powder is vegetarian/vegan. It also had no discernible taste. It mixed well with my regular almond milk smoothie base -- no clumping or other issues were noticeable. When other ingredients were added (banana, spinach, etc.), the resulting pea protein-enhanced smoothie was excellent.

Excellent quality. Organic Pea Protein. USDA Organic.

Since this is an unflavored pea protein, I added it into a smoothie. The liquid base was almond milk. The flavoring components were strawberries and bananas. Hydrated chia seeds were added as a healthy thickener, providing omega 3. A bit of psyllium husk and sunflower lecithin for fiber and thickening (sunflower lecitin, a good source of choline). Some cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg for their flavor notes. The resulting smoothie tasted great. I thought I made enough for two 10 oz glasses, so I could save one for later. But, after a few sips of the smoothie, the significant other came by and took a swig. She said it tastes pretty good, and proceeded to take the pour the rest of the smoothie into a large glass, said thanks, and left the kitchen. So, obviously I make a fantastic smoothie or this pea protein is as advertised....or both. haha
Now, the pea protein is unflavored, which means that they do not mask or add flavorings. There is a very mild taste, which is just naturally associated with any pure pea protein. It's very mild, and will often be imperceptible when combined with any components that have their own flavors.
The suggested serving size is 4 level tablespoons, 30 grams, which contains 110 calories. This serving size yields only 1g Total Fats, 0 Cholesterol, 1g Total Carbohydrates (0g Total Sugars) and 26 grams of protein. These are excellent numbers, and 26 grams of protein per 30 gram serving size is an impressive ratio.
The product label notes: All Natural, Sugar and Gluten Free, Non-GMO, Raw, Vegan. Of significant note, the product label displays certification/badge for USDA Organic. Having a well recognized official entity ensuring that the product is organic checks off an important box.
I have another SANE product, and found it to be high quality. This organic pea protein did not disappoint, and exhibits the same quality characteristics.
The cost, though, seems to be a bit pricey. There are comparable products at a lower price point. This pea protein is $40, for 1 pound. One comparable pea protein product offers 2 pounds for $30 (https://www.amazon.com/Plant-Based-Organic-Hydrolyzed-Unflavored/dp/B08NLKFSCL/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8). The difference is this product has USDA Organic certification, while the comparison product has organic hydrolyzed pea protein, with GMP certification.
Still, this is a quality product, that matches the description in the product details. The protein power, unflavored can be used in smoothies or cooking/baking. In terms of the quality and attributes of the product, it meets expectations. Accordingly, it earns 4.5 - 4.75 star rating, with a high level recommendation.

A good as it gets....at a cost

Pea proteins are usually a very straight forward analysis.

You want a clean process with 1g or less of carbs and the ingredients should say some form of peas (there are a large variety out there in this big 'ole world of ours) and the protein content should be at least ~24g protein per serving vs that 1g of carbs and that is it.

Being non-GMO and/or organic is always a plus.

Peas are naturally higher in sodium so most pea proteins come with 300-500mg of sodium per serving.

Lastly, all pea proteins retain some semblance of the taste of peas. It is just to which degree.

SANE pea protein checks all the boxes. It only uses peas, has a good protein to carb ratio, falls right into the proper macro window, mixes well and tastes great.

I've tried numerous pea proteins from those that it is barely detectable to others that taste like you're eating a bowl of peas. Sane protein powder is almost to the barely detectable level. I saw this as someone who loves peas and has no problem eating pea proteins that taste like a side of peas at dinner.

The only knock is the cost as the bag contains 15 servings and $40USD is equal to ~$2.65USD per serving.

Still, the protein powder is excellent and checks all the boxes.

5/5

seems fine

Seems fine. No real complaints.

I'm always a little skeptical about where these manufactured products come from and who, if anyone, is verifying the claims.
