Ambivalent--Good but Dear (as they used to say)
I usually review only products that I rate with five stars, to encourage people to buy good things. In this case my ambivalence may also be encouraging, both to buyers and the seller. First, the customer service is fine. The buying and receiving transaction went well and the packaging was quite acceptable. Second, the product seems good--that is, its consistency is pleasing and it seems to be well made. The ingredients are just what I expected. Third--and however--I have three complaints, in order of severity: 1) it doesn't dissolve very quickly (which is more annoying than important), 2) it's too sweet (which is, I realize, a matter of taste), and 3) it is just plain too expensive. To take it as high dose vitamin C (I take 15 grams a day or more) would cost over $200/month, and that's out of my pay grade. Its competitors (I've tried three that propose to do about the same thing) are slightly cheaper, but so far all the products in this category are too expensive. I don't mean to say anything against either the product or its producer; just the dollars that flow out of pocket.
