I don't know why this company is trying to mislead people. It clearly has a PROP 65 warning on the back of every package stating that this product contains lead which may lead to birth defects & reproductive harm.<br />I didn't even get to try the product because i dont want to be exposed to lead!<br />ALSO, not sure if anyone else noticed, but the reviews on the listing are from the owners/employees. Their pictures are on the website. Its like they didnt even try!<br />I tried to look into this ChoCho protein and there is no website that talks about it except Mikuna.<br />Please be aware of this product & use this as a lesson to always check the package!

First off, I actually enjoyed this. A much better plant based protein than what I’ve had before. This is approved by Bobby Flav with Flavcity. I thought I had done my homework on it. But I never saw the notice that there is potential to lead poisoning by consuming this product. I’m in my first trimester and am trying to find a way to get more protein in my diet. Good for the company for including it, but scared me enough to not want to consume it. This should have been listed on Amazon. I’m now out $40, because this product is not returnable.

I purchased 2 bags at the recommendation of an integrative Nutrion expert and then noticed on the bottom right hand corner the CA Prop 65 Warning: “Consuming this product can expose you to lead, which is known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.” Amazon you need to show the full back of pack! Mikuna Foods…please take action to fix your product and update your packaging so consumers can see what they are getting….thanks!

I had seen one reviewer write that this product caused constipation. Since I don't have a problem with constipation, I thought it probably be okay for me.<br /><br />HA! Only two used, in two days and it was like I drank cement. I used according to product recommendations, and I drink 80-100 oz of water a day.<br /><br />I loved the texture, the way it blended up and the taste is great. I liked the amount of protein it provides, but the way my body reacted to it is a big OH NO!<br /><br />I will use the rest of the product by adding a few tablespoons of this to my normal protein shake, but maybe every few days, not daily, to use it up.

I got the unflavored, It is a single, pure ingredient and mixes easily to provide a rich and creamy base that you can trust is deeply nourishing without anything allergenic. Got this to take with me (to Immunity Therapy Center/ITC in)Tijuana, where I get cancer treatments. Bought powdered organic strawberry, cacao, and blueberry powder; also bringing my own greens blend (no wheat grass or nightshades) and maybe a little natural birch xylitol. YUM! This is good, good stuff, imho.
