This is the ONLY probiotic that works for me to "cure" my IBS. I recently tried another, less expensive brand, and my IBS came back. I forgot what IBS feels like. It's awful. When I take Flora 50-14, I have no symptoms whatsoever. It's like I don't have IBS at all. I will never switch again. This product is worth every penny and is truly a godsend.

I'm retracting my previous bad review. First I thought the product was worthless because it arrived hot. I did a home test to find out if the bacteria was viable or not and it looked like they were inactive. So, I posted a bad review (see below) and started the return process. Their customer service is great, they provided me scientific information and accepted my return, no questions asked. The article they sent me made me doubt the test results, so I talked to my naturopath and was told that it was a really good product and that maybe I shouldn't trust that test. Well, I'm a scientist so I had to find out what was going on. I tested it again, this time allowing the bacteria more time to work (36 hrs instead of 24hrs), truth be told it worked!<br />Luckily I hadn't return the product yet, so I'm keeping it. It worked better than other probiotic brand (of course I had to compare it with another product). Long story short: The product is GREAT despite arriving hot. It is a great product and the company offers EXCELLENT customer service. I would definitely recommend it.<br />Previous review: Bacteria arrived inactive - worthless<br />Terrible experience. This product is supposed to stay refrigerated from the time it's produced. My order arrived with ONE little cold pack, that was HOT! It did not arrive cold as expected. The bacteria are not alive, they are not active, the product is worthless. This is no cheap product, and it arrived inactive.

Only probiotic to keep my I.B.S. and yeast infections under control along with Premier cleanse (with occasional use of dycyclomine). I've tried so many for weeks and years at a time and nothing beats this probiotic for me (female... Not sure if that matters.)

So disappointed!! I heard so many wonderful things about this product, but it did not live up to the hype! However, the problem may be that this product is supposed to stay refrigerated from the time it's produced. My order did not come shipped in cold packs, as expected, so who knows how long this went without refrigeration?! I don't even know if the seller kept it refrigerated from the start. Without the &#34;good bacteria&#34; living, the product is worthless. I'll go back to my former probiotic until I can find a provider who actually sells this the way it was intended.

Can't get by without these for my gut. Too bad they keep increasing the price every few months. They know many of us live by these and will keep giving them our shekels.

The product has a varied mix of bacteria, which I liked. Research has not yet come to the point where the exact species of microorganisms in our guts is known, so, in my opinion, taking a varied mix is best until we know the answers.
