Elderberry, Zinc, and VitD, a great anti-viral combination. I was concerned that due to the zinc these would have that flat/metallic taste you often get with zinc. But was glad that these come through tasting more of the elderberry and a mild citrus or 'sweet' taste. If you need someone to take zinc and they don't like the taste, they will probably like these. Recommended!

Really not thrilled with how these Elderberry, Zinc & vitamin D3 Lozenges feel in my mouth when chewing one up. It’s like I’m consuming a Tums Antacid Chewable tablet. They do have a subtle lemon flavor. Not overly tart or too sweet. Something to keep in the medicine cabinet for preventing and lessening cold symptoms. Think of them like a poor man's Zicam®.<br /><br />You’ll have no problem getting your kids to take them.

The whole family takes a daily vitamin D supplement to stay healthy and fend off colds/flus/certain unnamed infections. These are useful for when someone needs an extra D boost, or is starting to feel sick. The zinc is great for any upper respiratory infection, and the elderberry is a nice addition, although I odn't think there is enough to do much on it's own. The flavor is pleasant without being to o sweet, and I appreciate that it's got stevia to keep sugar levels low. Kids take these enthusiastically. Good stuff.

I don't care for the flavor of these, nor the way they feel on my tongue. My wife on the other hand likes them quite a bit. I suppose taste is subjective, so I'm giving them 4 stars because flavor is only one aspect of these. There is some evidence that zinc may help fight off colds and sore throats. Vitamin D is something many people are chronically low in that helps maintain good health. So, while I don't personally enjoy them, they are good for what they are.

These zinc and elderberry pills are a little bigger than I expected, but they are not meant to be swallowed. You let them dissolve in your mouth so it feels like a candy. They are odorless and they come with cotton inside the container to avoid moisture. Overall I'm happy with the product.
