$ but good meal replacement for lactose intolerant

I have been buying oxywhey since doing a workout program 3 years ago. A lot of these trendy instagram gym girls promote stuff and the plan I did said to buy oxywhey. I take it with a grain of salt but this protein is great. They used to sell a strawberry flavor and it’s so good! Doesn’t clump as bad, esp in lactose free/cashew/almond Milks. I mix mine with “Silk 10 gram protein almond + cashew milk” so it gets a bit more protein and makes it nice and frothy/creamy but is still lactose free. Anytime you bulk up on protein you are going to have digestive issues like ibs-c until you consume enough protein and water. But this protein prevents that automatic bloat that can hit within 15-30 minutes of a protein shake and last hours. No bubble guts fr that ruins your day.

My shake:
- mixer is silk 10g protein almond cashew milk
- pb2 powdered pb
- benefiber healthy shape prebiotic fiber supplement (way better than metameucal, it’s super fine and dissolves instantly).

I will continue to purchase this powder as it has helped me shape my body aesthetically the way I’m going for and I don’t bloat up AT ALL. Zero bloat, and even muscle milks/ensure ruin my stomach for hours.

I recommend this if you: are lactose intolerant, can’t stand chalky protein, want something creamy that tastes like a malt shake (no artificial super sweet), bloat from other proteins.

This is the whey!

I use this for a post workout protein shake. I've been trying to cut fat from my formerly morbidly obese frame for the past year. I've used many whey protein supplements, but only to complete my needed protein intake. I try to make sure the majority of my protein comes from clean eating.

This is by far my favorite. When mixed with unsweetened almond milk and ice then blended, it makes a super awesome protein ice cream that really puts away those cravings for sweets! I've also been using their isopept peanut butter cup. It is my second favorite of all the whey protein supplements I've used over the last year.

So far I'm down just over 100 lbs. I am in no way saying this is responsible for that. (I have busted my tail in the gym, and somehow functioned on a major caloric deficit while consuming around 200 grams of protein per day) However it has been very key to make sure I complete my required protein intake without going over my caloric intake.

WOW….

Listen, I’ve tried TOO MANY whey proteins over the years and none compare to this one right here. Seriously, it is so good! For me, aftertaste is major turnoff when it comes to anything I drink, especially supplements like this. While monitoring my blood glucose levels due, I also noticed that it does not spike or negatively affect my blood glucose (as it does contain sucralose and every body is different). It mixes well and is really enjoyable to drink. Let’s put it like this, if this product was given to me for free, I would still pay for it. (Well, maybe not *LOL*), but you get the point- that’s how good it is. Buy it now, and enjoy. Caio!

Average

I would rank this as average. Based on the cost and ingredient profile, this is mid grade. Profile it is good and like the blend of iso and concentrate. Because of the concentrate it does get a little foamy at first but goes away. I was hugely disappointed by both the smell and flavor. I got the Raspberry Cheesecake and nothing of a cheesecake flavor. I have had others that pulled it off. The Raspberry flavor is a subtle banknote, or maybe I am willing myself to taste it. At this point I cut it with different vanilla iso to off set. So far no digestive issues.
BACKGROUND: I've been analyzing protein for over 10 years, with many research and spreadsheets comparing them all. I rank based on cost per scoop, ingredients, protein quality, protein concentration per scoop (most are only around 75%), additives, and flavor.

Not a Good Flavor, Do Not Recommend Especially for the Price

I was really excited to try this. Turns out the flavor is so gross and this protein is $20 more expensive than ON protein, which is 10x better IMO. Don't waste your $ or time on this.

Super sweet flavor

The chocolate/caramel flavor I purchased tasted very good to me and I will be buying it again. Only down side was the container was only 2/3s full. Ya I know, sold by weight not volume but still gives you a false impression when reviewing the product.

Note, package talked about serving size being one scoop but it did not appear to have a scoop included in the container. Went down the path of converting grams to ounces only to find the scooper was buried in the powder....
