I don't buy it, litteraly

Ok, full disclosure I really did not buy it. I got it through the Amazon Vine product testing program.

But, here it is why "I don't buy it."

1) It does not list the amount of the active ingredients you are getting (Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM). Even a toothpaste tube discloses the amount of active ingredient it has. So, you have really no idea what you are getting.

2) Given that the active ingredients are not measured, this product certainly has not been tested. You have no idea if it works. Other reviewers have indicated that topical treatments with similar content had mixed scientific reviews. But, in this case you don't even know if the cream uses therapeutic levels of the active ingredients.

3) It has a lot of chemical additives that seem totally unnecessary, and may be genuinely harmful. These include Hexadecanol, a sugar alcohol, that has implication for gluten sensitive people, celiac disease, and diabetes. It also has Triethanolanine that has tumor growth implication.

So, here you have it. This is a product with unproven and untested health benefits combined with chemicals with known side effects and health implications.

Excellent product

I've been using this cream for some time now (it's also found in certain pharmacies) and it has helped soothe severe pain that I was experiencing in my knees. I think it's an excellent product and I especially like its minty smell.

I've read a few of the reviews complaining about the cream not listing the quantities of its ingredients, but my guess is that the label doesn't show this because the product is a "cosmetic" product and cosmetic products don't ever list ingredient quantities. Over the counter (OTC) products, on the other hand, are required to list ingredient quantities, but that wouldn't apply to this particular product.

My pain is down from a 7 to a 2! I'm thrilled!

Update 4 months later: My pain level is still way down and I’ve been feeling better and better!!! It says it takes 8 weeks to fully work. I had a lot of relief from the getgo, but now my pain is beginning to disappear completely. I am SO happy, and SO thankful!!!!

Original review: My husband bought this for me based off a radio ad. He knows how much pain I am in every day. I have an arthritic thoracic and cervical spine (upper back and neck). I have tried everything: physical therapy, supplements, walking, fitness class, stretching, yoga, heat pads, hot showers, epsom salt baths, chiropractic, acupuncture, arnica cream, capsaicin patches, yoga therapy balls (for self-massage and connective tissue release and massage), theraguns, a hook (plastic hook shaped tool with nodules that helps a person massage knots out in hard to reach places) and especially massage (and maybe a few other things I've forgotten!!). If you are in pain, I encourage you to never give up, and keep trying things to help. Don't listen to doctors who say you need surgery - yuck! Good chance you will be in more pain. I was told 8 years ago to just take Aleve every day - heck no! I knew that wouldn't be a good long-term solution. For me, I have had the most pain relief with once a week massages by a person who has a good rounded knowledge and can target trouble areas, and knows where they are connected and what the root problems are (my posture, weak muscles, etc.) Next best helps for me are a heating pad used nightly and hot epsom salt baths. I have recently had a major reduction in pain because I finally decided to do massage once a week instead of once every month or two, and I found someone who knows what they are doing. However, once I started using this cream, I found that it exponentially increased my pain relief!!! I am super happy with it, I don't mind the smell or a little bit of a greasy residue, because I am just sooooo happy to have LESS pain!!! I've only been using it for 1 week, and I noticed a big difference after just a day or two. I'm excited to keep using to see if the ingredients make a bigger difference over time. Thank you, LORD, for a little more earthly help with this daily pain problem. It's always amazing to get some relief. I will try to follow up in a month or two to see if it is still working the same for me.

It would've been perfect

It definitely gave me fast relief . I applied a little more than a pea size, one on my hip , the other one on my lower back just before bed. That's the good news. The bad news is, it caused me to be dehydrated. I had dry mouth and was so thirsty it even woke me up from sleeping. So just be aware of this. I had to drink a lot of water .
