Word to the Wise: Order Direct

I've been ordering Dolovent for years. This time I received what feels like a counterfeit bottle via Amazon. The label is all bubbled up, it's from a different country of origin, the label is lighter. Here's what I learned from that mistake: I will be ordering directly from Linpharma from here on out. This is too scary to get something suspect.

Doctor recommended, didn't cut it for me

I have had migraines for as long as I can remember. Usually ungodly amounts of ibuprofen and excedrin will take care of the pain when I feel one coming on.

My doctor said newer studies have shown that magnesium can help alleviate the number and severity of migraines so I tried a plain magnesium supplement and this item (since the Mg is waaaay cheaper). I honestly think this made them worse? I would take the product as directed but would almost immediately feel a migraine come on, plus the yellow color makes your pee yellow. Not a huge issue, but I keep a close eye on my hydration since dehydration is one of my triggers.

The plain magnesium glycinate supplement has worked much better for me! Even taking it every other day I'm down to just 2-3 migraines a month vs. the 5-10 I would get otherwise. Anecdotal evidence but that's my experience so far.

Too Pricey

I am on my second bottle. I don't know that I can contribute the reduction in my migraines to these supplements. I was taking all of the main supplements that are indicated in this bottle individually. This product was recommended to me by neurologist. I do like having the convenience of taking one dose versus several different pills each day. I do not like the high price tag. I cannot justify spending this dollar amount each month. Don't know this price point is worth the convenience.

Dolovent works to reduce my migraine frequency

This is an expensive product, but it's not nearly as expensive as my migraine rescue medicine. My neurologist recommended that I try a supplement with these ingredients, but did not give me a name. I did a good deal of research, and have tried purchasing different varieties. I think Dolovent works best for me, with less difficulty swallowing the capsules, and a very nice combination of vitamins with the minerals.

Beware!

I have had migraines for over 25 years and had tried this before but was not diligent in taking the supplement. I decided to try again and take it regularly. 1. It did not help and 2. it gave me soft soft stools to the point that I thought I was sick or had fecal incontinence. Wearing Depends is not fun. I'm back to just taking prescription pain killers (not Oxycontin) and Aimovig, which doesn't seem to be helping either.

Effective

Since taking Dolovent it has lessened the dizziness drastically.
