This is a great source of vitamin C from a reliable company.<br /><br />500mg of vitamin C and 25 of rose hips in each easily dissolved capsule. The dose is two capsules, but when I find C in a formula that is not time released I tend to split the dosage if I can, and they’ve made it very easy.<br /><br />The pills are easy to swallow, I’ve had no problems with reflux or stomach upset, and will likely purchase these when I run out.

I most definitely prefer liposomal vitamin C and take about 5,000 mg of it on a daily basis. However, hubs likes to take regular ascorbic acid vitamin C before bedtime as an extra layer of protection in addition to his daily intake of liposomal vitamin C. He works in the health care industry and is much more exposed to viruses than I am. One capsule contains 500 mg vitamin C and that's good, but I prefer at least 5 times that much. If 2 capsules are taken each day this bottle will last you 1 month. I used to buy those humongous bottles of vitamin C at Sam's Club years ago and they were a very good bargain but these are also good vitamin C capsules.

It’s very difficult to rate any vitamin tablet unless it’s toxic. I have taken these for four days now and nothing has happened to me. I have learned that other than a multivitamin tablet and capsules, Vitamin C with or without Rose Hips is the most taken vitamin supplement hands down.<br /><br />Most people in the US and other non-third world countries take Vitamin C to promote overall good health especially in the fall, winter and spring when colds, flu and allergies are at their highest. Of course, the flu and colds are viruses which can’t be prevented with anything except by staying at home along with no physical contact with no other human. However, it has long been believed that these two ‘nasties’ can be lessened by taking vitamin C. Whether true or not, I am not a scientist and cannot say for sure.<br /><br />What is known about vitamin C is that it is good for the growth, development and repair of all body tissues. It's involved in many body functions, including formation of collagen, absorption of iron, the proper functioning of the immune system, wound healing, and the maintenance of cartilage, bones, and teeth.<br /><br />I have been taking extra Vitamin C for 50+ years and it has done me no harm. As I said in another review, I have very strong bones and a bone density test proved that my bone density was very positive partially due to my taking Vitamins C and D3–according to my PCP.<br /><br />Highly recommended.

When they say 1,000mg - that's a 2 capsules serving. (30 days)<br />I normally take a different brand that's 2,000mg in each capsule so that's 4 capsules for me.<br />I'll go through this bottle pretty quickly.<br /><br />Having said that, this is good quality.<br />> Vit C - Ascorbic Acid = natural Vit C found in food.<br />> Rose Hips - the accessory fruit of rose plants<br />(Rose Hips contains 50% more vit C than oranges)<br /><br />Also good to NOT have - artificial colors - flavors - chemical preservatives - Binders - Fillers - Flow Agents<br />> Certified vegan - gluten free - GMO free - Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) -<br />made in a NSF certified facility in U.S.A<br />All that is saying a mouthful! I have had to take a Vitamin C supplements over the years due to an auto-immune condition and for adrenal health. I like that this one contains Rose Hips. The value is decent but the quality is good and I like the benefits. It actually gives me a little of an energy boost, helps me with constipation and fighting off colds, etc. I find it to be very beneficial for my needs
