The only electrolyte I use

I tried Elete because it seemed an economical solution that didn't have any added carbs, especially sugar. I haven't looked back. I use twice the recommend amount per 24oz as I seem to need more salt, but its still cheaper than the alternatives. I also like that it does not leave a residue in my CamelBak and instantly mixes with water. No stirring or waiting for a tablet to dissolve. Beware that the bottle does not seal well enough to be transported. I save the foil safety seal inside the cap to reinsert it when I need to transport the bottle.

Not for sensitive stomachs

Did you ever see the movie Wedding Crashers? Remember the dinner scene when they put drops in a guy's water and he spends the rest of the night on the toilet?

Yeah, well. I'm not saying this was the product they used, but it had similar affect on me. I even tried quarter of the dose and still had the same reaction.

I despise flavoring & sweeteners in my water and was (am) looking for a simple electrolyte addition for my hot yoga water bottles -- unfortunately this one didn't seem to help *me* with hydration. Your mileage may vary.

One note tho, according to the ingredients listed on the label, this is predominantly sea water, with other salts and more water and potassium chloride (last ingredient) added. It has a greasy look and taste. And I definitely DID taste it.

Great electrolyte product

A friend recommended this to me for my chronic fatigue. It really helps, since I have a hard time regulating my sodium/potassium balance. Much better than Gatorade and other products that have sugar and who knows what else in them.

Helps with dizziness and low blood pressure

This has helped immensely with my dizziness and low blood pressure! I don't have to salt my food as much either. Sometimes I can taste it in the water (it's salty) and sometimes I can't...probably depends on how electrolyte-deficient I am at any particular time or because I don't measure out the electrolytes methodically--I tip over my water bottle and count to two in my head while it's dripping in. It makes the water taste more soft to me...I know that's a weird description...perhaps that's what other reviewers mean by the water tasting oily. I don't know. But I don't mind that "softness" at all...I actually drink a lot more water when I put these electrolytes into it. (I live in AZ, so our water is hard and we filter it through a 10-stage carbon filter.) Also, it has helped me not have to eat as often...if I'm drinking these electrolytes, I don't have to continually eat to feel ok.

I feel better when I use Elete

I feel better when I use Elete. If you divide your weight in half, you have the number of ounces of water you should drink everyday (I weigh 100 pounds so I need 50 oz of water daily). Half of your water should have Elete in it (25 oz of Elete water and 25 oz plain water). This is what my naturopath advises.

excellent source of electrolyte - good customer service

My bottle arrived with the liquid leaking. When I contacted the seller, they responded immediately and sent the new bottle tightly packaged. I practice hot yoga 4 to 5 times a week, and I never take a class without having Elete in my bottle - it's the BEST source of electrolyte.
