The pictures of the product are deceiving. I ordered this because it appeared to be the exact same as the old time released vitamin C. It is not - the ingredients in the picture they show is of the old formula. There are many fillers/added ingredients in this one (as you can see by my pic). I thought nothing of it until I was looking at another supplement, and decided to see if a certain ingredient was in this. It was then I realized there are way more ingredients in here than my last bottle. I guess GNC is going in a different direction now. I also noticed this on another GNC supplement recently ordered.

My 85 year old mom and I use it to avoid colds. When I feel a cold coming on I take two. My mom does it too.

Perfect product!! On the store Is more expensive. I love it!!

One star for attention<br />Opened the bottle and guess what..... they are gel caps. Gell caps = not timed release. Even after a one by three stick on label put on the side of the bottle stating time release, that dosen't make it so.<br />Contacted GNC to check on gell capsules and if its timed release it has to be a tablet.<br />Amazon cannot have returns on this type of product (health issues) but will make it good. The actual timed release tablets have been ordered, which cost a bit more. I really hope this was just a mistake by someone putting on the wrong label and the picture of the bottle site shoulden't say Timed Release.<br />Look at GNC vitamin C 1000 with bioflavonoids & rose hips.......... Then read the description... Timed Release. No worries mate.

I have been taking Vitamin C for a long time. However, this time the pill size was larger than expected. Apparently, there are more than one manufacturer of vitamin C. This time Amazon went to the supplier that manufacturer that make the larger pill. The larger pills are harder to swallow. I wish there were a way to specific that I wanted the smaller size pill. Now I am stuck. Any help is appreciated. Otherwise, I love Amazon. The three star is because of the large size of the pill.
