Confused by the mix that contains zinc oxide as 50% of the zinc, but contains plenty of zinc. Vegan!
I've taken zinc supplements for years as I am both immunosuppressed and immunocompromised. There are lots of different types of zinc used in oral tablets, including zinc gluconate, zinc acetate, zinc sulfate, zinc picolinate, zinc orotate, and zinc oxide.

This supplement contains 50 mg of zinc per capsule, half of which is zinc oxide and half of which is zinc picolinate. The total amount is more than 4.5x the USRDA, so you are getting more than 2x the USRDA of each type of zinc.

My research indicates that zinc picolinate is one of the preferred forms of zinc as it is readily absorbed and absorbed better than most other types of zinc. The problem here is that half the zinc is zinc oxide, which is frequently used in creams rather than ingested. I find it surprising that the manufacturer would source the zinc from one of the best-absorbed types of zinc and one of the worst for the same product.

The pill itself is small and easy to swallow. The bottle and its contents are odorless. The pills do not stick together (I've had that problem with some vegan gel caps).

Even with the less absorbable zinc, given the high amount of zinc in the tablet, even if the zinc oxide is entirely not digested, you are still getting more than twice the USRDA for zinc, and that meets my personal daily needs.
