A great doubt. Investigate first.

I don't know if these capsules contain magnesium citrate. Investigating, I found that it dissolves in water at room temperature. I opened a capsule and poured it into water; but most of it remained floating and the other part went to the bottom. Beat for several minutes and let it rest. No portion dissolved and much of it was still floating. I went back to researching all the components of this product and found that one of them, Magnesium Stearate, is not soluble in water and is not absorbable in the intestine; It is a lubricant for machinery in the capsule manufacturing process. The question: am I buying Magnesium Stearate? Magnesium Citrate is supposed to dissolve. Neither me, nor anyone else, likes to be fooled!

Edited 9 hours later.
Note in the third image taken 9 hours later that it has not yet dissolved. What am i taking I lost everything?

Looking for the best? Try Nutricost

Nutricost products have significantly added to the wellbeing of my life. I look at different makers before choosing and Nutricost is always the winner. They sell quality. Their magnesium citrate helps keep me regular without any side effects. The capsule is much easier for me to take than large tablets other companies produce. I find Nutricost products safe and cost effective.

These pills do not contain 210mg elemental magnesium per pill, more like 100mg

Magnesium citrate contains 11.23% magnesium per molecule by weight (Wikipedia). In order to have 210mg Mg in a single pill, the pill must weigh at least 1870mg or 1.87 grams. I take a 100mg Mg pill from another vendor and it weighs about 1 gram. What does this pill weigh? The bottle weighs 9.91 ounces according to the description and there are 240 pills in the bottle, so each pill weighs at most 0.0413 ounces or 1.17 grams. The bottle doesn't weigh enough and therefore the pills will not weigh enough to contain 210mg of magnesium each. These pills more likely contain only about 100mg Mg.

Nutricost Magnesium Citrate 420mg, 120 Servings (210mg Per Capsule)

Nutricost Magnesium Citrate 420mg, 120 Servings (210mg Per Capsule): Vendor gets points for making it clear that 2 capsules equal 410 mg. of magnesium citrate. This gives me the option to take 210 mg., which is double what I was taking. It's clearly marked as magnesium citrate, which is supposed to be more absorbable than magnesium oxide. Taking it for help with migraine headaches. Better sleep and digestion will be extra. The lid IS hard to open the first time. Had to use my adjustable pliers.

Been taking 1 capsule (210 mg) per day, and the migraine symptoms have gradually eased off quite a bit. Now taking it with dinner; whereas, I was taking it at breakfast, which may be helping. (Thanks to reviewer comments.)
