Tasty benefits to my health

At a recent health check-up I was told I have an iron deficiency by my doctor. He recommended taking a once or twice daily supplement, and I chose this product. I like the taste (a non-medicine flavor) and the chewability of these over swallowing some try pill, There is no aftertaste, and I find that I feel better now that I am taking these daily.

Taste & consistency great. Now let's see if my stomach objects. 🙄

The flavor isn't bad & the consistency is about what you would expect from gum drops. An (completely) unanticipated diagnosis of severe anemia put me on the trail of an iron supplement I could tolerate.

The straight pill bothered my stomach a lot. 🤢 My physician asked me to take it with OJ. (Nope & nope again.) These are fortified with VitC - I am crossing my fingers. The dose is 2/day, so I decided to try one in the early AM with the second around 3PM.

Wish me luck.

Good.. If you think you’re a vampire & love the taste of blood… (Yuck!)

I might’ve had higher hopes than I should’ve for these, but they were (to be completely honest) beyond awful as far as flavor. Not to make it sound too graphic — but, to me, 2 gummies were more like melting, coagulated blood balls rolled lightly in something like grape kool-aid (with no sugar).. I forced them down to get my dose of iron for the day, but no exaggeration, I found myself trying anything to get rid of that horrible, blood-like taste. I mean, I totally understand, it’s an iron gummy - what do you expect? Well.. For it to be advertised as tasty as it was hyped up to be, definitely not what I got! I will definitely be sticking to my old school iron pills. If you wanna try to pretend your a vampire once a day, go for it. If you’re looking for something that may actually be somewhat of a gummy treat way to get your daily dose of iron in, this isn’t for you either. C’mon now, Dippin’ Dots! How the heck are you gonna proudly put your name on this product? Just saying.. lol! As far as absorbency, I’d say they do their job. Not taking anymore to really try to notice through my blood work or anything though. Once again — yuck!

Best tasting and easiest to remember to take iron

I have been iron deficient since I was little, and though this is a very low mg it's by far the easiest and best tasting iron supplement I have had yet.

Good benefits Awful flavor

I have been taking these for approximately one month and can feel physical benefit of increased hemoglobin levels. While I appreciate that from taking these daily, I dread actually taking and chewing them. I thought gummies would be best for me since iron tablets make me nauseated. But the flavor of these is what I imagine grape kool-aid would taste like if you made it with water that had 100 pennies in it. It’s rough getting them down, but it’s quick and painless and doesn’t cause me any stomach upset. So the benefits of these far out weigh the awful flavor.

Great taste

All 6 of my kids love this vitamin. I only bought it for one of my kids because they are anemic but my other kids ask for it too because it tastes great and has a decent texture, it isn’t too chewy like some of the other gummies we’ve tried.
