Great in-store purchase, terrible online purchase

Similar to a few other reviews, I bought these because they are my favorite bars on the market -- when purchased in-store (Whole Foods or REI is where I've bought them). However, my online purchase yielded dry, stale, hard-to-bite bars that taste completely different from bars purchased in store. The bars have not expired, so I don't why they taste so bad. I would definitely buy these bars again in store, but I would not purchase from this seller again.

Great product but really stale boxes from TeethNThings

TeethNThings shipped us two boxes of really stale bars. My wife and I use these routinely for a quick refueling after a hard workout. We both noticed something odd about this batch shipped by this company. Perhaps they were unaware of this situation. The expiration date says Sept 2016 (it is now April 2016 - well before the expiration) and yet they are as stale as a few 2 year old bars I had kicking around in one of my packs. Would not recommend buying these from this seller but I would highly recommend these bars to anyone who wants some protien (not a ton) with a huge sugar boost.

Not very fresh when ordered through Amazon.

I've bought these bars at Whole Foods and they are amazing, so soft and delicious, almost as tasty as a Reese's peanut butter cup but in bar form. But the ones I ordered from Amazon were just not the same. Dry and crumbly. They weren't near their expiration date so I don't think it was age; I wonder if it has something to do with where or how they are being stored. Anyway, I definitely recommend these, just don't order them from Amazon. :-P

One of the Best Tasting Protein/Energy Bars I Have Found

I just found Honey Stinger Protein bars at a local supermarket and bought the Dark Chocolate coconut almond flavor, out of curiosity. I am always trying every protein bar under the sun, hoping to find one that DOES actually taste great, without being loaded up with too much sugar and chemical additives (and soy). This bar is delicious-- and the label even claims 'gluten free'. I recommend this.

Love the taste!

Love the taste of this bar! I also use the honey gels for running and the energy bars occasionally. I like the natural bend relative to other energy/protein supplements.

You have to love honey to like this one, otherwise look at something else like Supreme.

DO NOT BUY HERE. LISTED PRICE IS A RIP OFF. GO STRAIGHT TO [...] for about $10 less.

Poorly Made and Stored

I bought these bars because of the macronutrient profile (10g protein/19g carbs) and because the ingredients didn't include any crazy chemical additives. The expiration date on the box said April 2011 (6 months away) so I was shocked when I opened a bar and found a crumbling, bubbly, hand-formed mess. The bar looked like it was made on an inattentive person's kitchen table and then left out in the sun to melt and deform. I was very disappointed. I did break it open and taste it. There are no whole ingredients in this bar. I'd guess that all the ingredients are from powders. The taste wasn't fresh but it wasn't awful... until the medicinal synthetic vitamin taste started to rise up out of my distressed gut. I had to take some digestive enzymes to lessen the nausea... and this was at breakfast! I'm running, not walking, back to Pure Bars [[ASIN:B000P50500 Pure Bar Organic Cranberry Orange, Raw Fruit & Nut Bar, 1.7-Ounce Bars (Pack of 12)]]. Double Yuck Honey Stinger!
