Hard to Swallow
Let me start with saying that I am not against this product. I will probably buy it again because it is very inexpensive and probably is as effective as any other vitamin C product on the market. .
I did an experiment with the product by attempting to dissolve 5 tablets it into 8 oz. of orange juice using the Ninja BL480D. After one minute on high there were still a lot of chunks in the bottom of the mixture. I added some honey which did help but there were still a lot of unresolved pieces.
When taking orally the tablets are very chalky in the mouth. Over my lifetime I have taken a lot of large vitamin pills and some were very hard to swallow. For me this is definitely a hard pill to swallow. I would suggest that the manufacturer consider discontinuing this product and replace it with something that dissolves more easily and is easier to swallow. Unlike other supplements vitamin C is most effective in the upper gut and upper GI tract. If it gets into the lower gut it could cause diarrhea. Of course this is totally subjective on my part. But I want to give an honest review.
