Synthetic ingredients, not truly liposomal.

Ascorbyl Palmitate is a synthetic ingredient that causes increased toxicity when exposed to sunlight (google Ascorbyl Palmitate controversy). There's a reason it's so cheap, people. Also, this isn't a proper liposome, meaning it just dissolves normally and doesn't provide any increased absorption. Spend the money, find a true liposomal vitamin C. Or just take natural ascorbic acid and accept that your body will only absorb a bit of it at any given time.

False advertising! This product is NOT liposomal Vitamin C

In the description for this product on Amazon it says:<br /><br /> "1400mg of soluble Vitamin C. ... Liposomal Vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid, is the equivalent form of vitamin C found naturally in foods."<br /><br />This implies the product contains 1400 MG of ascorbic acid, but it doesn't. Instead, it contains Vitamin C in the form of ascorbyl palmitate, ascorbyl oleate, and cetyl ascorbate. These are inferior forms of Vitamin C. They're easily digested, but they are no better absorbed than plain old Vitamin C. Plus, real liposomal Vit C should list water as an ingredient. This doesn't.<br /><br />Moreover, these forms of Vitamin C only contain about 42% Vitamin C. The rest is fat (palmitate, oleate). So although the label says 2 capsules contain 1400 mg of Vit C, 2 capsules actually contain only about 590 mg. I may as well have bought a cheap bottle of Vit C from Walmart or Target. Shame on me for not doing better research prior to purchasing. I won't be purchasing again.

manufacturing review

The only thing that worries me is that the bottle says "made in USA with global ingredients". I interpret this as the powders coming form China but they are put into those capsules in the US.<br />Otherwise very easy to swallow.

Super fast shipping (shipped same day of purchase), packaged well, very good quality. Will report bag on progress. Progress: I've been taking this for a couple of weeks and I feel great and more energetic!

No gut upset!

I was looking for a good liposomal vitamin C product to help with autoimmune issues and with histamine intolerance. I take a fairly high daily dose and there are no digestive problems with th IU s product. I had a question about the source of the vitamin C and emailed Aurora, on a Sunday morning. I received a reply that afternoon, assuring me there is no corn or fermented corn in the product. I am impressed with that level of customer service!
