First off, I haven't taken any other supplements targeted for &#34;post workout&#34; before. That being said I lead a fairly active lifestyle on top of weightlifting. I'm a massage therapist by trade- I run my own practice. I would not be able to work and lift heavy weights without this supplement. Sometimes heavy lift days would leave me yelling from the pain of post workout soreness and fatigue. I no longer experience pain and I recover much faster now. I like the taste of this too, mixes well with my fruit juice when I'm feeling fancy.<br /><br />Only down side is it doesnt dissolve completely with water. Its really not that bad though, just a little gritty at the end.<br /><br />It it's any help, I'm a 26 y/o female with arthritis in my knees and hips. This stuff helps me feel better.

I've been doing back-to-back Beachbody programs for two-and-a-half years now. After two rounds of Body Beast Bulk I can honestly say that this stuff WORKS!!! Hands down. I was barely sore after punishing workouts. I was just, you know, the good sore. :-) You're not just buying a recovery formula, you're buying quality ingredients.<br />I love the tropical flavor, taste like fresh mango. I look forward to it after my workout. If you're hesitating, don't.<br />I also can't live without the Energizer. :-)

Good, almost great. There's a lot of feedback left to the efficiency of this product. I agree that it is a great post workout product. So, why 4 stars instead of 5? My main hangup with this product is that it contains 4g of Pea Protein. 4g of protein immediately post workout will (probably) do nothing to aid in recovery. Why not take that out and add 4g of free form amino acids? The research behind amino acids post workout is stronger than even protein post workout (in terms of recovery, muscle growth, etc). Also, it bugs me that this product is $1.50/serving, but none of the dosages are at the clinical dosages (i.e. research shows the effective dosage of Glucosamine is 1.5g). All in all this is a great product and a staple in my supplement collection. I would just like to see the Pea Protein removed in favor of BCAA's and some of the dosages bumped up. I would also like to see a sugar free version (similar to their preworkout) because I train in the morning and sometimes would like to intermittent fast, especially when I am on the road.

This recovery accelerator does exactly what it is supposed to do, help you recover faster. What you also need to know is that you will need to drink your protein supplement after you take this recovery drink. It only has about 4g of protein per serving and it is meant to create a carb:protein ratio optimal for fast absorption. While it mixes easy and tastes great with water, there is some heavy sedimentation and you will constantly need to stir if you plan on setting your cup down for a minute. It is a little pricy but well worth it!

So far, so good. I sweat a ton and lose a lot of essentials during exercise. This Vega powder, mixed with a piece of fruit high in fiber and milk, helps me to recover very well from intense soccer sessions and other lengthy aerobic workouts. I think I've had a little more success with the Osmo recovery drink, slight differences in the ingredients and quantities of ingredients, perhaps Osmo is just better suited to my makeup. But I've valued both so far and recommend giving this one a try if you have similar needs.<br /><br />Side note: I appreciate that folks review the taste of these powders and such, but a review containing only comments -- I've seen a ton of them in my efforts to find what works best for me -- about the flavor is useless. If you care only or primarily about the taste, then drink Kool-Aid or Gatorade and leave the reviewing to people who place the importance of the effectiveness of supplements like these first. Why are you even buying these mixes? Dozens of low ratings with a comment only about the flavor makes searching for what's of greater quality a little more difficult. Thanks.

I love working out hard and this recovery accelerator works really well. I have not had any sore muscles, pain, etc. if I drink this shake immediately after workout. I did not like Tropical flavor, but Apple Berry is very good.
