Best on its own or with soy milk etc

This is the best tasting vegan protein powder I’ve ever tried. But it’s expensive and has a distinct taste so doesn’t blend into smoothies as well as a plain protein powder would. I like these when I don’t want a smoothie I just want the powdered drink. But because of the cost I would recommend having two powders: one for smoothies and one by itself. That way you won’t spend as much on protein powders because this is one of the more expensive ones by weight.

VEGA Sport Protein Powder

I have one suggestion - the included scoop would be much easier to control if the handle was about 1.5" - 2" longer. The current scoop is messy and difficult to handle. I have now tried both the vanilla and chocolate flavors. My personal preference is the chocolate. I only mix it with cold tap water and it comes out just fine. I have thought that I might want to try the VEGA Premium Sport Protein Powder, but I would expect that the included probiotics might make storage a little more complicated. The manufacturer should produce this product in larger sizes (without the probiotics). Most people do not need supplemental probiotics, anyway - they usually know it if they need it. Personally, I am only interested in the protein powder because I am very active in Judo and running. Sometimes I think I may not get enough protein in my vegetarian diet. We need larger, more affordable sizes - personally, I cannot afford to regularly pay $30 for 14 scoops.

Did the formula or quality change? Leave comment please

Hi, I used to buy this protein all the time. It was the best vegan protein i could find. I usually brought the premium version (which apparently only difference is the probiotics Bacillius Coagulans is present there and not this version). The price of these products have increased so much i had to buy the non-premium version (which I have tried several times before). Either product was good. But, now... When you open the container, the smell is different, it doesn't smell good anymore. When you make it in the mix, yes it mixes just like it used to, but the flavor is chalky and there's like no flavor. This used to be delicious, now its like medicine. I had already paid for it, so i force myself to finish it because I paid for it and its protein, but it does not taste good anymore.
Also, the color is off too. Its a more yellow brown powder as opposed to just off-white yellow or yellow-green as it used to be.
Maybe that's the problem? I got a bad batch? Please comment.
I was definietely a loyal Vega Protein customer, so its not that I hate them. I'm dissapointed.

Perfect for me

Glad this is available on Amazon. It has a good flavor and mixes well in my recipes and smoothies. Specifically like that it contains BCAA's, non GMO, stevia instead of other sweeteners and is plant based.

Great Plant-Based Protein

Great product! Vegan proteins can be hard to come by, especially in a good protein ratio. Although relatively thick with a distinctly vegetarian protein powder flavor (don't worry, it's delicious!!), at 30 grams of protein per serving, I have zero complaints! Great tasting product filled with quality ingredients. I'm already on my second bottle!

Horrible

Taste is horrible, taste like chalk. I usually blend my protein powder in a blender with mangos and strawberries with flaxseeds. Trying to find a plant base protein this was a fail. I read the reviews before i bought the protein.
