Such a fantastic supplement. I'm always very excited when I get a new vitamin, and I had never actually heard of spurilina until receiving it. I did some research and found that this is 100% Organic and is a source of important nutrients.Spurulina is a whole food concentrate rich in vitamins, trace minerals, mixed carotenoids, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. It has a regimen of 6 supplements daily but I have found myself to take it 3 times a day- 1 pill each time. I usually take many supplements/vitamins looking to boost my energy and of course trying to boost my immune system. I have many spinal issues so with all the medications I get put on I also need a good source of nutrients.<br />Spirulina definitely has given me a great outcome to my days. It has no smell or after taste and goes down easily. I Really think this is something that should be added to your daily routine! I take LOTS of supplements. Why? I have Lichen Planus. It is an auto immune skin disease. Now for mine, it's good for me to take Spirulena. The supplements I take work together to help my immune system heal. Lichen Planus SUCKS! There other worse things but it is miserable! Last time, the first time, I didn't know how lucky I was. I had just two small, about the size of a dime or nickel, patches on my shin. Itched like crazy! Had it for about three years and after some steroid creams it got really dark brown and then faded. It stayed gone for several years. No big deal.<br /> Then in 2014 around sept. I had another breakout all over my leg, knee, bum, wrists, hands, feet, ankles, and I was so scared it would work its way to my face and scalp causing bald spots.<br /><br />My good friends saw how miserable and depressed I was after trying to hide it for two months. She is huge on natural oils and supplements. She started to research and came back with several things for me to take and a new understanding of Lichen Planus. I learned a lot that night.<br /><br />I take bee pollen, echinacea ( only for 6 weeks), turmeric, l-lysine, maca, Vitamin C, Spirulena, kelp, and two essential oils that Taste nasty and burn like heck on my lips; myrre and oregano. I hate the oregano oil. And I was taking a probiotic but it did not sit well with my stomach so I stopped that. After I ran out of my bottles that my friend gave me I needed to replace them. Nutra naturals brand Came up for me to review. I asked my friend what she thought of the brand and she researched it and looked at the ingredients. She hadn't heard of it but thought it sounded good. So I opted in to try it. I was picked to try it out and when it came I opened it right away and saw they were a nice dark green and no coating in them. As a matter of fact the cotton was smeared with dark green from the pills. This is a good thing! They are not big at all compared to some of the horse pills I swallow in supplements. There was no bad smell or taste with these and it did not have any after taste! I have to take six of them but not all at once. I take two at each meal. I drink lots of water throughout the day and when taking them. The dark Amber glass jar is so good at keeping these fresh! I like the nurtra natural brand so much I plan on getting the l-lysine and turmeric and maca in this brand to try out too. The price is good for how pure these are. It's a good quality. As for the lichen Planus...it is still there. Good news is that most of it is healed to dark spots and no longer itchy. It has stopped breaking out in new spots. All the ones on my wrists are gone. And mostly gone on my bum. The legs were big and a lot so they will take longer to fade. But none on my face or scalp. I'm so thankful I found stuff to help. And that it didn't get worse. On the support pages people are struggling so much and so miserable and depressed and many have it much worse then I do. My heart breaks for them. I've shared my experience with supplement combinations and now am sharing the Nutra natural brand. There is no cure or good treatments for this,doctors don't even know how we get it.
