A true "sleep aid" if there ever was one
I have tried every over the counter sleep aid along with breathing exercises and meditation--this is the only thing that has ever worked in terms of falling and staying asleep. The best part of melatonin is that it ACTUALLY takes you through the STEPS of falling asleep instead of just knocking you out like Unismom or Nyquil (i.e., you actually start to feel yourself shutting down and know it's time to sleep). For someone that has struggled w/ sleeplessnes and the resultant exhaustion from my late-teens and into my mid-20s, melatonin is a time saver and has improved the quality of my sleep dramatically.
