This product does not dispense at all! Shaking the bottle upside down and nothing comes out! How am I supposed to use it?

This Vitamin D product has many reviews complaining it is difficult to dispense. It does take a little getting used to but I appreciate the glass bottle (safer for the environment and for me!) Look closely at the bottle after removing the lid. There is a hole to dispense by drop AND there is a barely visible opening on one side to allow air to enter as the drop dispenses. You have to hold the bottle with that opening up and unblocked. This is elementary physics. Just like removing a straw from a drink while holding your finger over the straw at top. No leakage from bottom of straw due to pressure. Don't tilt the bottle so far forward that the air vent is blocked and the drop dispenses easily.

Labs showed my levels were too low and physician advised taking a supplement. 2 weeks later a different doctor checked new labs and asked what I was doing because my levels were WAY TOO HIGH!! Never has a drop of any vitamin supplement made such a dramatic difference in my medical results so fast; not to mention it’s a drop a day and I won’t run out or need to replace about once a year.

Here’s how my purchase arrived: box already opened, seal broken on the bottle and with only 3/4th of the bottle full. Absolutely appalling. Didn’t even get around to trying the product.

This is liquid sunshine in a bottle. Put a couple of drops under your tongue every morning and it makes all the difference in the world.

If the dispenser won't dispense, just remove it and use a small fork or a toothpick to gently enlarge the hole at the bottom of the straw. Customers shouldn't need to do this, but it works and keeps the product from being shipped back needlessly. Also, take note the straw is intentionally offset and not centered, so you will need to be certain it is positioned on the bottom when you tilt the bottle. The manufacturer should be checking their dispensers for defects. As for the product being effective, I will need to wait for my next blood draw in six months.
