I've been using collagen powder for a few months now, and have started noticing some real changes. They started with my digestive system, and now I'm seeing them in my hair, skin, and nails. I've tried several different brands, but this is the first granular type that I have tried, and I really like it. It mixes well in my coffee and in my overnight oats. I cannot taste it in either one and it doesn't have or leave a nasty powdery texture behind, which I very much appreciate.<br />I like the simplicity of the packaging and it was a really fair price at $6.99 when I first ordered it, but it has now gone up to $9.99. This really takes the fair deal that it was away. It seems that praising the good or fair deal, that can be accounted for by the simplistic packaging and contents, caused a great price spike. I can order other brands that have more collagen types for the same, or better price per ounce at this price.<br />I would definitely recommend it, but hopefully they will bring the price back down to match their economical packaging. The entire package and contents really had me sold at that price. Even though it was $6.99, putting it's simplicity into perspective made it a fair deal.

My wife was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis, and has read that collagen supplements might be helpful in restoring bone density. This dissolved well in warm water, and had very minimal flavor, making it easy to ingest. However, this package only had enough in it for 14 days, which was a disappointingly small amount. It is hard to say whether it actually helped with her bone density, but after she finished it, she did seem to lose more hair in the shower than while she was taking it, so it certainly appeared to have at least some effect.

Like many getting older, I've noticed changes in my hair, nails, and skin that I wanted to try and slow/stop. Been using this off and on for about a year and a half and noticed improvements in all three areas. While not a panacea, it does what I need it to do. Here are a couple of thoughts that may be helpful:<br /><br />1. As other reviewers have noted, it's not tasteless. It doesn't claim to be, just "flavorless, which it is. This is an animal based product, and you'll know that it is just like any other Essential Amino Acid (EAA) products with similar ingredients...noticeable, but not overwhelming. If using in keto coffee or you add some powdered spices like cinnamon or nutmeg, it's almost unnoticed. I also use it in hot tea - green tea and you'll notice it more than if using something flavored (like Earl Grey). It's worth a try, but if you find you don't like or can't tolerate the taste, there are pills or capsules alternatives that can be used instead.<br /><br />2. Recently purchased a 1kg package of EAA powder, and didn't realize until now that this has the same EAA as in that product, with the exception of one - Tryptophan. This also comes with a host of other amino acids that the other product doesn't, as well as 9g of Protein, which may be beneficial if you're not a fan of, of using, supplemental protein. The kicker is that this smaller package is still $0.13/oz cheaper than the bulk package at the time of this review! May not seem like a lot, but if taking regularly it adds up, so save yourself some $$$ and try this.<br /><br />3. If your looking for EAA supplementation, compare those products with this and determine whether or not this would be a better, cheaper alternative over the long run.

I switched over to this because of the lower price than my other product. They are both described as tasteless with all the same ingredients and product description. My old product was 100% tasteless in my morning coffee. This one had a pretty bitter flavor. I will pay more to get a completely tasteless product! I so appreciate Amazon allowing the return!

The last batch of collagen I got my hands on (from another company) was much clumpier than this. This right here is the real deal. It's super instantized and while I usually just put this in my blender for my smoothies, I've also just stirred this into some juice and I've noticed how quickly and completely it disappears. When you can just stir your collagen into some cranberry juice without all the sediment at the bottom, you know you have the good stuff. It is really hard to find good quality, super instantized collagen that doesn't have a ridiculous price tag attached to it. I like this brand and I'll definitely be using them again.
