Works extremely well. I have profound (100 decibel) tinnitus and this puts me to sleep quickly with a long night's sleep. Sometimes I take 2 tablets. You MUST use sublingual! Other brands which you swallow with water take so long to get thru your digestive system that the melatonin effect will be delayed to the point that you'll need to wake up the next morning and you'll be so sleepy/groggy. This is a great product. To those whom complain about the taste, who cares if this works so well?!

No product will work the same for everyone, but this works so well for me I won’t use anything else. It dissolves easily, doesn’t leave a bad taste, and best of all, I fall asleep quickly.

In the past few days, I have been having symptoms that have, in the past, been associated with taking a medication that boosts the level of serotonin in your body/brain (many antidepressants. My ears are ringing loudly again, and my back muscles went into spasm again.<br /><br />Since starting to take melatonin is the only change to my medication or vitamins, I checked to see if melatonin boosts levels of serotonin. I didn't find that it does. However, what I found was a bit concerning. You can find it on WebMD, Consumer Reports, or on medical journal sites. A study found that 26% of melatonin supplements tested contained serotonin. The article cited how much serotonin they found, and it looked very small to me, but the writers seemed to think it was a significant finding.<br /><br />I'm not saying that this one does: I have a subscription to Consumer Labs, and this isn't one of the brands that Consumer Labs analyzed. I'm just saying that if you are sensitive to serotonin levels and have a toxic reaction to serotonin-boosting drugs, it might be better to choose a brand that has been third-party certified by a trusted company.

This is a fast dissolving tablet however the taste or rather aftertaste is quite strong. Not a bad aftertaste just strong.
