Expensive, but great taste and quality.

I've spent a year trying out different protein powders until I found this brand! It was a struggle finding one that didn't taste chalky or have strange ingredients. I finally decided to test this one out due to reviews, and I am so glad I did. I'm on my fourth order of this specific flavor. It mixes great in smoothies and especially my morning coffee shake. I can even make my own protein "ice cream" with it, and it doesn't taste chalky at all. If you're debating whether it's worth the price tag or not, I wholeheartedly recommend.

will change if anybody will reach out.

I am looking forward to using this product as it was recommended to me by someone who I trust. I ordered both the earth fed nocturnal as well as the regular Earth Fed muscle. Both arrived a couple days apart. The nocturnal one when I took it out of the box the seal apparently had been broken. Their was some powder in the box as well as powder on the container. I took two pictures. If someone can contact me and make this right I will obviously change my review.

Standard

If you are reading to know if this helps build mass or not then there's no need for that. No matter what anybody says, if we trust the ingredients than we know this product has protein so it'll help build mass regardless. It's up to you if you want to convert it to healthy muscle mass by working out and lifting weights. That being said, I paused consuming this product as I simply did not like it. The ad mentioned it can be used for breakfast so I tried it on my already bland combo of nuts and Greek yogurt and the result was so nasty I had to toss away the whole thing. With water it taste like any generic protein powder. However, for the current price of $50 I am not sure it's enough protein (18g) and quantity (2 lbs) to justify the price (the scooper is deep in there btw). Maybe it's the 0 sugar and no hormones, gluten, soy, artificial ingredients that make it expensive but I think competitors are not too far off. I'll continue trying it and if I see some noticeable differences then I might update.

Good Protein

This protein powder tastes really good and mixes even better! I enjoy that it has a short ingredient list, and that the majority is organic!

Great label, I suppose it's the casein that makes it "Nocturnal"

I must say I love the label. It's unique, catchy, and makes me smile. But that alone doesn't a good product make, although it does get one in a good mood.

The primary source of protein here is casein, which most people take at night due to it being a slow release protein and providing anti-catabolic benefits. When I take casein at night, however, I don't take a blend. Still, this is good protein powder.

I like that it uses stevia. I am, however, a bit perplexed by the choice to use hormone free protein, some organic ingredients, but not everything organic. I really do feel if you're going hormone free and some organic, one should commit to 100% organic and hormone free. Anyway, if you're okay with this mix of organic and non organic ingredients, it's a good protein powder blend of casein and whey concentrate. A bit low on the protein content at 18 grams, but then again it's casein and whey concentrate so within acceptable limits for me.

With water, this tastes quite okay. With milk, it tastes very good. It dissolves well, and the casein does make it more satisfying and "stick to the ribs" than plain whey. The added fiber also contributes to the more hunger satisfying feeling this protein powder provides. Remember, casein makes for a thicker shake so this won't be runny like straight whey isolate, and using concentrate gives a richer flavor, although at the expense of those who are lactose intolerant.

It's a uniquely packaged, good tasting blended protein that could be better if it was all organic. If it was all organic, I could see the price being justified, but since it isn't, I feel it is too expensive. The ingredients, however, are good, and since it is a more boutique type brand with probably smaller production runs, I can understand not being able to compete on price. I'm all for supporting made in USA and family businesses, so take this into consideration when making your decision.
