This whey is perfect for mixing into various food. It has more sugar than some, but that's not a bad thing especially if you like to add whey to things like yogurt. I've always pushed the protein content above all else with protein powders and figure the fat and carbs after the fact. If you're looking for pure 100% protein only, Allmax has their excellent tasting isolate for that, but it comes with a price. The Allwhey Classic powder is as cheap as it comes from a quality brand. I've had the regular chocolate and strawberry and they both taste excellent. The wife thinks the chocolate is a bit malty for her liking, but I don't think it is. Very, very sweet - 8 gm of sugar per serving. Most other whey formulas have 2 gm of sugar. And sucrose is added. Can't put this in a fruit smoothie because the sweetness is too much. Why do the manufacturers of this stuff insist on adding sweetener?

Great protein powder with a good taste. It has a high protein content for a great price. I like to mix it with cranberry juice. It also works really well in berry smoothies. It has a cool scoop that sits in the rim so that it doesn't get lost in the powder.

Whey protein has been a staple of my daily diet for quite a while. I've tried quite a few brands from Cyctosport, Optimum Nutrition, among others. I found this on sale from another source, which then turned me to Amazon where their regular Prime price was pretty close the previously-mentioned sale price. Which by the way, is a good $10-$15 less than most competition. The profile is very good, taste is excellent; I have nothing negative to say and will keep buying this product. Also worth mentioning - they have a very clever scoop design that firmly stays in place just below the lid. Details.
