I take 500-1000 mg of vitamin C a day, except when I am coming down with an illness, in which case I take high doses (having read some years ago that 1000 mg per hour may have an antibiotic effect; it is a given that one must build up tolerance to such doses) until symptoms subside. Over some thirty-five years when I take this approach my sickness is always shorter when I take the high doses of C.<br /><br />I laid off of this approach for a while when I read that most vitamin C is made from genetically modified corn. The C from non-GMO or non-corn sources was just too expensive for me to take in the needed quantity, so I chose, with some misgivings, to take the cheaper GMO C rather than be sick longer.<br /><br />Nutrachamp's Vitamin C is a blessing to me, being NON GMO with IMMUNE ENHANCERS, THAT I CAN AFFORD! A couple of days after receiving this bottle, I developed a sore throat; I began my 1,000 mg per hour regimen early on, as usual. I cannot say whether it was the nature of the sickness, or if it was the immune enhancers, better quality, or all of the above, but I achieved a ceasing of symptoms quicker than I normally do.<br /><br />I do know this: I have a new vitamin C! High potency, you can tell the difference between “cheap” vitamin C the higher quality. 've tried many of the alternative Vitamin C products and have found this to be of the highest quality. These definitely help boost my immune system. Great way to boost the immune system in the sick-prone Winter months.

This is the REAL DEAL folks! it is Vitamin C, along with Elderberry, Citrus Bioflavonoids & Rose Hips. If you do not know of these added ingredients, I urge you to Google them. You will not be disappointed with the results. Take it right at the onset of a cold, and it's gone with in a day or two. Take it to PREVENT illnesses. I have a low immune system, and get sick frequently. Ever since I began taking this, I have not gotten sick AT ALL! And, I have been taking this for several months now. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I was surprised how well this product worked and how much I liked it, considering how many other vitamin C supplements are on the market. Despite living in a household where everyone got cold/ cough/ sore throats this season, I managed to be immune from it all by taking this daily.

Product Arrived shortly after ordered. Seems like a decent product however, and I blame this on me, I just realized these are not 1000mg tablets. They are 500mg so you have to take 2ea to get the 1000mg daily. I was under the impression I was getting a 4 month supply when it’s a 2 month supply.
