I am 72 years young. I buy it for my hair and nails - it works take a while to notice that it is working on your fingernails. The California ones that I ordered are long but the have a mark so they can be broken in half. I just read them and these are the ones I chose, because of the ingredients. Very high mcg biotin, this is very helpful for hair growth and shine. Bring biotin to decent levels in couple of days of usage

I have used products from California Essentials before so I felt comfortable trying out their Biotin. I like that you only have to take one pill a day. The price is great for something that should last you approximately five months, so no complaints there. I haven't noticed that my hair has thickened or anything like that, but I do feel like I am losing less of it than I was before. Going through the great change that us ladies are so lucky to go through, my hair started falling out like crazy. I don't have a lot as it is, so it was alarming to me. If this is really what is keeping my hair from continuing to fall out then I am really happy. I haven't really changed much of anything else, so I am figuring it is this Biotin that I am taking that is helping with the hair loss I was experiencing. I will definitely continue to use these.
