Got this product for the price point. Read reviews about the taste and all that jazz, I mean what do you expect for the price? People just want to complain about everything these days. Look, I will be quite frank, is this the best stuff out there? no. Does it taste amazing? also no. Does it do its job? yes. Can I deal with the salty taste for 3 seconds while I chug a glass? yes. Are all the bad reviewers the type of people who complain about everything? yes. Bottom line, its got a salty taste to it, almost like drinking sea water with a splash of fruit punch. Personally I tolerate it, and it does its job. You wanna spend 40 dollars on DR. BERG cuz it tastes good, more power to you. but for the normal people in the world who aren't complainers and cry babies, this stuff works and its not the worst thing ive tasted. BOOM suck on that review.

I've been doing keto for a month now and was looking to increase my potassium. I watch Dr. Berg, but felt all of his supplements are way over priced, so I decided to give this a shot. The first two days I felt like I was choking down fruit flavored alka-seltzer, and had to lower the amount I was mixing with my water. After a couple days I got used to it and now I'm able to take a full scoop of powder, and actually enjoy it. My energy has increase, appetite suppressed, and I've even noticed a substantial decrease in the non-keto foods I crave.

I was so excited to try this because it advertises no artificial ingredients. As soon as I received the container, I read the ingredients and found it has Stevia as a sweetener. Stevia is falsely advertised as a "natural" sweetener when in fact, it is a very toxic, cancer causing chemically altered at-one-time natural sweetener.<br /> Scientific reports have shown that the extract stevia may be harmful when consumed. . It has been shown to negatively affect both male and female reproductive system and preliminary studies, links to cancer. In the lab, steviol can be converted into a mutagenic compound. This, in turn, may promote cancer by causing mutations in the cells' genetic material, or DNA. Scientists are divided on the issue of the cancer link♂, and remain adamant that further testing, studies, and reviews need to be conducted in order to resolve the issue.<br /><br />Energy Metabolism<br /><br />Studies conducted by the Center for Science in the Public Interest♂ indicate that large amounts of stevioside♂ can interfere with the absorption of carbohydrates in animals and disrupt the conversion of food into energy within cells. Scientists are particularly worried about this development, especially as it pertains to children.

I've tried another brand, and while it was good, this has a better price point, so I wanted to give it a try. I purchased the fruit punch flavor. I was very impressed! Of course, the electroly ratio seems good, so that wasn't a concern. I know some of the reviews said that it tasted salty - well, it IS an electroly supplement, but I don't detect an overly salty taste. What I like is that it's not too sweet, either. It's just a nice, fruity taste that's not overwhelming. I really enjoy it, and will continue to purchase KetoVitals Electrolyte powder.

**UPDATE ON REVIEW**<br />After leaving this review I was contacted within 1 day and was given a full refund that I didn't even ask for. I will be purchasing the fruit punch flavor with the refund and hopefully that one I will like better. Excellent customer service!<br /><br />I was expecting this to be a lot better in flavor, but compared to Ultima brand electrolyte Ultima tastes way better. I will finish the bottle and will not be buying again. I have a feeling the punch flavor might be better but after tasting this I won't risk it. I will go back to Ultima products for sure.

This is my new go to electrolyte powder from here on out. Taste great and clean ingredients. Love the fact that each scoop contains 500mg Potassium.
