This magnesium is more bioavailable - meaning it is more useful for your body - than what you can buy ...

My first purchase of this Mag glycinate was from my functional medicine doctor. I got this to help me sleep and it has really worked. As a pharmacist, we sometimes have to learn things on our own and I have learned a bit about supplements since seeing my doctor just a few months ago. Did you know magnesium is one of the nutrients most women are deficient in, behind vitamin D? This magnesium is more bioavailable - meaning it is more useful for your body - than what you can buy at your drugstore. I highly recommend this product if you have problems sleeping or other signs of magnesium deficiency.

Label now says “magnesium glycinate complex”.

My order showed up with a different label then what appears in the listing. *Now says “magnesium glycinate complex”. Note that it includes magnesium oxide, or cheaper form of magnesium that’s much more likely to cause stomach distress. Disappointed with this product. I will look for one that is pure magnesium glycinate.

One Star

This is part magnesium oxide which is basically a laxative. Returned because of false description.

⚠️⚠️You better eat something! ⚠️⚠️

1st and foremost take caution!
Eat at the same time you take this.
(Doesn't have to be heavy)
Think banana, apple, grapes, a single serve applesauce etc.

2nd DO NOT take more than one at a time.
Now, while nothing “bad” happened, but I would think if you don't know your body well, and take other medications you may be in for a surprise.

Luckily a little food solves this issue. (For me)

Overall, so far so good for what its supposed to do.
I will also mention that there has been no “bathroom issues” on my end.
I only mention this as it has been a theme in some other reviews.

⚠️(Each person will always react or process things differently.) ⚠️

DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING!!! This is not just magnesium glycinate it has the cheaper inferior mag. oxide as well.

Really peeved with whoever wrote up this listing on Amazon. I needed 100mg of mag. glycinate to give to my daughter this weekend. The description says mag. glycinate with l-leucine!!! Yes, if you click on the picture of the label you read that it is mag. bysglycinate with magnesium oxide, however, at slow speeds my smart phone does not like to load those pictures and I can't always read them, and I shouldn't have to read the labels because I expect the seller to list the ingredients properly. I am sending this back and I am NOT expecting to have to pay return shipping. This is the sellers fault, the manufacturer's fault, and Amazon must by now also know that this is false advertisement. The manufacturer should list that it is magnesium glycinate and magnesium oxide and should let one know how much of both is in the mix. Magnesium oxide is considered much less effective. I like to use a combination of forms including some magnesium citrate as well. I should have checked this out with Consumerlab.com before buying. They do tests on whether the manufacturer has what is stated on the bottle and if there are any impurities. They do quite a lot of testing on magnesium but unfortunately they don't check yet enough brands for my purposes.

Love the small capsules!

Mostly I love the small size of these capsules. So many supliments are like horse pills. I've also noticed that I sleep much better when I take one before bed.
