Great taste!

I just started protein shakes this year. I tried many. For me GNARLY IS THE BEST! GREAT TASTE. It's a little expensive but worth it. So far I have only use the vanilla. It makes a great smoothie with any flavor light yogurt or fresh fruit or both! It helped my diet I lost over 70 pounds. It fills me up and gives me energy. Love it! BTW I have not been compensated for this review. It's all true! I just bought the chocolate now.

Best on the market!!!!

Non-GMO, grass fed, no sucralose.. Couldn't ask for anything better for a PWO whey protein. #1 in my book.. Tastes great and helps me to recover after intense weight training workouts.. Absolutely LOVE Gnarly and all that they stand for!

Gnarly is becoming my jam!

Started with Gnarly's BCAA looking to move to more natural supps and moved on to the protein powder. Really liking this product.
PROS:
1) Solid taste. Not overwhelmingly, chemically-shocking, vanilla.
2) Very filling. Useful as snack/exchange on non-workout days. On workout days, a shake an hour-ish before a tough session keeps me full through till the end (I know, everyone caloric needs differ).
3) Smooth mix. Once shaken (see below), very smooth and drinkable. Virtually no chunkage.
4) Good mixer. I've added coffee, PB, fruit ... all tastes good mixed with the vanilla. Again, not over-powered vanilla.
CONS:
1) Tough mixer. Really gotta work-up a pump to get it mixed thoroughly. Once mixed, see above!
2) Value. At $51 a container, seems a tad pricey for a 2 lbs container with 20 servings (roughly$2.55/serving). There are other powders cheaper with almost double the servings.
FINAL:
All-in-all, I'll be sticking with the Gnarly brand for the foreseeable future. Good grass-fed, whey protein that taste good, taste less artificial that other brands, and (so far) has been a banging protein supp. The cost is annoying, but frankly, i'm the type who will pay a little more for something I deem as a quality product.

Great Whey Protein Powder! Dissolves quickly, tastes very good!

I've tried many Whey Protein supplements and this is one of the best! I like that this product is managed in a sustainable way and the vendor goes above and beyond to assure a quality and "clean" supplement. The whey is very, very fine and easily dissolves in water, milk, or soy milk (my usual choice). I use a normal electric blender and this powder easily dissolved in my soy milk, without any clumps. I especially like that cleanup was easy since it totally dissolved and didn't stick to the sides of the blender or my bottle, unlike some other whey products that I use! The taste of the chocolate was very good; I don't really expect much from the taste of whey products but I really found the taste of this item to be enjoyable. I add about a spoonful and a half of Psyllium husks to the powder for a little fiber and to add some bulk to curb hunger, and it pairs nicely with this whey product. The item is packaged is a nice twist top tub with glued on labels that have appealing graphics, nutritional information, and serving instructions. Recommended. I did receive this item for free or at a discount in exchange in for my honest and unbiased review. If you found this review helpful, please vote "yes" below!

although the evidence is clear that whey protein is best absorbed and utilized for muscle repair

Okay people, I've tried A LOT of protein powders. I've done plant protein and whey proteins - both of which I use, although the evidence is clear that whey protein is best absorbed and utilized for muscle repair. Therefore, I've been on the look-out for the best tasting, high-quality whey and this is it! It blends amazing with everything and has the best taste for any protein I've had. I love that it only uses stevia and that their whey comes from the grass-fed cows of New Zealand. Love it, need it, recommend it!

ONLY TWO POUNDS

Keep in mind you're paying $50-$60 for TWO POUNDS. Wish I would have realized that or else I would have never spent $60 for hardly any protein. I'm sure it'll taste great but I'll stick with ON All-Natural Whey (Same price for 5lbs and all natural ingredients)
