One supplement I believe is crucial to energy production in the mitochondria.

I'm currently reading the book, Mitochondria and the Future of Medicine: The Key to Understanding Disease, Chronic Illness, Aging, and Life Itself. It's a slow read, incredibly interesting but needing to be slowly digested as it's not an easy read, at least for me and my pedestrian biology background. I reference that here only because CoQ 10 plays an integral role in the electron transport chain. Generating ATP and the energy all cells depend on depends on having sufficient levels of COQ 10 in the mitochondrial membrane. Of course, it's impossible to measure if our storehouse of the countless compounds necessary for optimal health are sufficient, and taking supplements can easily be overdone, wasting money and even being counterproductive. But as I age and still maintain an absurdly rigorous work schedule, this is one nutrient, I feel is necessary to supplement. I feel confident in trusting Doctor's Best brand, as I subscribe to a medical testing lab reference that rates various supplement brands and products to substantiate if their listed ingredients are as presented as well as their purity, and Doctor's Best is frequently listed as a source that consistently passes muster as to product integrity. I wish I could write that since taking my first bottle I've had limitless energy and can scale tall buildings with a single bound. I can attest to the fact that I rarely get sick and maintain a work schedule regularly exceeding 80 hours a week even in my sixth decade. This is one supplement I will continue to be faithful with, especially as I get a better understanding of mitochondria and their crucial role in both energy production, but also in battling disease and even perhaps making the aging process a more gentle glide. Recommended.

unique blend of highly absorbable ingredients

I take all of these supplements individually and have done so for years, and generally use the Doctor's Best brand. Now all three are available in one supplement? My wish granted. Doctor's Best is a brand I trust, as they have high standards for obtaining purity and minimizing filler ingredients. Labdoor ranks them high on most supplement quality lists, based on independent lab testing, which confirms my assertions. The capsules are easy to swallow, though you do need 3 to get the recommended dose. At 3 per day, a bottle will last about a month, and at $20+ per bottle, a good value for what you get. There is a slight odor with these capsules, but not repugnant like some can be. The forms of each ingredient are well-chosen for their bioavailability, so you know your body will actually absorb most of it (I learned long ago to avoid Magnesium Oxide for this very reason). The noticeable effects will vary person to person, as we each have unique needs, so while I do feel better using this (especially the magnesium -- fewer muscle cramps and better sleep) it's difficult to say if it will work for everyone. Overall, recommended!

Good for the heart

Used this product for husband's heart issues from bypass and stent surgery. Dr. Sinatra endorsed these supplements for the heart. CoQ10 helps support heart muscle. Husband received a good report from his heart doctor to be able to go out of state for vacation.

great bio-availability

Every time I research the best magnesium on the market, "Doctor's Best" comes up at or near the top of the list. Magnesium is not stable (and therefore not sold) in its elemental state; it is ALWAYS combined with another chemical in supplements, resulting in varied quality and bioavailability. So even when the quantity of magnesium is the same from one type of capsule to another, your ability to absorb it will change based on what it was bonded with. Biglycinate often tops the list for best bioavailability, and that's what you see in this bottle, along with the CoQ10 and L-carnitine. A fantastic choice for anyone needing extra magnesium. The size is a standard large capsule, which is par for the course with magnesium.

Product expired in Feb2020

I purchased 4 bottles in October 2019. Quite disappointed that the expiry date is just 4 months away!!! Surely I won't be able to consume all in 4 months! By right supplier should be more considerate! Some supplements I purchased from other supplier much earlier and the expiry date goes as far as 2022!!!

Useful with Potassium suppliments to have and maintain good heart and circulation health

This item combined with a potassium supplement helped drop my rapid resting pulse rate from the 90's down to 80's and 70's at resting pulse rate. I am delighted to see this lowering of my resting pulse rate and highly recommend this Coq10/l-Carnitine/Magnesium supplement.
