It's not supposed to be for sugar-addicts

I don't write reviews but the ones who think this will taste just like candy bother me. If you have a clean pallet you will love these pancakes. If you normally eat regular pancakes and snickers for breakfast every morning then yeah, you might not like these. I mix some Greek yogurt with a little almond milk and use as a topping. Toss a little stevia in the batter if you don't find them to be sweet enough. These are worth a try.

Meatheads have tastebuds too.. I mean really!

Holy cow... I am actually having trouble describing how disgusting this stuff is. That fact that it is so expensive in comparison to other companies just adds insult to injury (taste-bud injury and backhanded in the wallet!). I prepared them EXACTLY as directed on the back, I timed each step. They were not edible because the thick texture was gagging me. Maybe I did something wrong SO I made another batch, cooked it longer and the texture was hard on the outside but still weird on the inside. Starving at this point I ate a whole one and the flavor doesn't strike me as a "cinnamon roll", needs more vanilla and perhaps a tiny bit of batter taste (Not Texture, haha).

Finally, I deviated on the third batch only because I figured I could improve on this considering I formulate recipes. Nope. After adding a little more fluid I hoped they would cook but they just stuck to the pan and turned out like scrambled eggs. What a sad waste of resources and a bummer! I have a great protein powder pancake recipe I created, however it is nice to have a stand-by which follows my foodie preferences. Im trying to find a store bought product to share with my followers but the search continues. I hope the company's Chocolate Chip product can carry them or they reformulate. I would be willing to try it again after that point but the current batch is going to compost.

waste of money

These are absolutely terrible. the worst mix i have ever tried. they don not cook up well, they don't look like anything on i seen on shark tank. they dont mix up at all close to the directions. it takes 2x as much milk as called for on the direction other wise its still half powder. takes 5x longer than 60 seconds per side, because you have to turn the temp down. even if you slow cook until their burnt on the outside and the inside can only be described as a wet sponge. i have tried high, med, low. thick or thin, they all suck.

these are truly awful, and i'm not that picky. i have tried a couple other much cheaper brands on here and powered through them. I am going to throw away the other 2 bags i bought. waste of a $100.

Not sure if I would buy it again because of the price but I do like the fact the ingredients are healthy

It helps me to loose weight but the price is quite high! I think $25.00 per bag would be more reasonable. Not sure if I would buy it again because of the price but I do like the fact the ingredients are healthy. Saw it on Shark Tank, that's why I ordered the product. Took a while to discover you have to follow the directions almost exactly as too much liquid and the pancake will not cook at all, even after 10 minutes.

from scratch using almond flour to using others like carbquik. I found these to be very good ...

I have tried many different recipes for low carb pancakes, from scratch using almond flour to using others like carbquik. I found these to be very good and delicious and faster to prepare. They do a good job with the texture of simulating regular pancakes. In my case I doubled the recipe and used 2 eggs and unsweetened vanilla almond milk with two scoops of powder. Throw into my kitchen aid mixer and let it stir for a minute or so. As with any of the lower carb options the batter comes out thicker then transitional pancakes, but after some experience you get used to it. In the end it made 6 medium pancakes using ~1/4 cup scoop for each pancake (saving the second batch for reheat tomorrow).

Served with walden farms sugar free maple syrup. Great product and highly recommended although is obviously a little more expensive then traditional pancakes. Price to pay for being a little more healthy alternatives.

Delicious and Terrific Product

Delicious and look and taste like regular pancakes! I use 1/3 cup liquid egg whites, as the package suggests and 1/3 c. 2% milk with the one scoop of powder. I usually add a generous amount of fresh (if in season) or frozen blueberries. Griddle must be preheated to 325 degrees, spray with PAM. This makes 6 medium pancakes that serve my husband and I for breakfast or dinner. Serve with no calorie butter spray and use sugar free syrup. I think the product is terrific and we get 10 meals out of the package - about $3.90 per meal (or about $2.00 per person) not expensive at all when you think of the nutritional advantages of using this product. My husband is diabetic and had been missing pancakes. These solves the problem. We have not tried the cinnamon or Chocolate chip mixes, as we enjoy just plain with added fruit or nuts. Great product! Highly recommend.
