July 2018 and I am UPDATING my original review. I like the product. I thought it was a good deal for the price. And they did have a life long customer until I came back today and found they had jumped the purchase price more than 25% which I think is blatant greed so I am off to try some of their competitors - gonna start with Lyte-show and I'll post a review of that once I've tested it out.<br /><br />This review is from January 2018<br />I purchased Hi-Lyte for a water fast and it worked exactly as it is meant to so I had zero leg cramps and it helped assuage the hunger. If I use the full dose it tastes a bit salty so I generally underdose very slightly and I find that palatable.<br /><br />As a long distance runner I have been using electrolyte tablets since the 80s and Hi-Lyte is so much easier and works so well that they now have a life long customer.

am 80 years old and in great health except for high blood pressure. The Dr told me to drink 64 oz of water with electrolytes daily to help lower pressure. So I have been drinking a popular brand for awhile. Was getting pricey so I went online to Amazon to find liquid electrolytes and found your product. After reading the description, reviews and questions I purchased your product. I do not like the taste of my tap water 💦 so I filter it through my Brita pitcher/filter, fill 2 33oz empty “popular brand” bottles, add 1/2 tsp of Hi-Lyte to each bottle, shake and I am set for the day. I find no salty taste. In fact it tastes like the popular brand.<br /><br />I did the math and I will save $60/mo. Because of this I ordered the 3-pack yesterday so I will have a supply on hand for 3 more months.<br /><br />Thank you for having just what I needed.

I've tried several of these products and this one is the best. For one, it uses sea minerals instead which helps increase bio-absorption (Nuun, in contrast, uses magnesium oxide which absorbs horribly). It also has a bit of Zinc, which most don't, and that's always a welcome bonus, because unless you're eating a lot of shellfish, you're probably not getting enough of it. Also it's nice that it DOESN'T have calcium, because calcium competes with magnesium for absorption, meaning if you're taking a supplement with a lot of calcium too, it's likely much of the magnesium isn't being absorbed. This is important because it's likely you're already getting plenty of calcium in your regular diet, and much more likely that you're deficient in magnesium. It's also difficult to get the full RDA of potassium every day so that's a lovely bonus as well. I've taken this product for a while now and the difference is noticeable. I sleep better, and my muscles get less tight after workouts, they don't cramp, and they recover faster. It's also nice that this product is strictly the nutritional supplements of interest, leaving the task of flavoring to you to decide rather than bundling the two together. I like to put 12 drops in each 8oz glass of sparkling water I drink throughout the day, mixing in nothing except some pure lemon juice for flavor. If you ever wake up with achy muscles, or you find your muscles ever getting crampy, there's a good chance you may be magnesium deficient. Give this product a shot! However don't overdo it at first: like ALL supplements with magnesium, if you take too much, it may cause diahhrea. I find I can supplement up to 100mg of magnesium a day before I have any problems, (sometimes up to 150mg if i've done a lot of sweating). But everyone is different: some can tolerate a lot more.

I have struggled my whole life with staying hydrated. I have become very health conscious since I turned 16 and I drink NOTHING but water, coffee and the occasional brewskis. My work supplies us with free bottle water and I drink at least eight 16oz bottles a day and I still always felt dehydrated. Everyday I'd wake up with a swollen face and body with aches and pains. I even tried a subscription of coconut water for several months and nothing seemed to work for me. If I was to ever drink more than 4 or 5 beers I woke up so dehydrated I was hungover for days. This product has literally changed my life. Not only am I constantly hydrated and more energetic everyday, but I haven't had a hangover since I bought this product. (and I drank my face off for the SuperBowel last Sunday like an idiot) I put it in everything, not just my water. Most will probably not like the taste at first (to me it tastes like skim milk) but I promise it will grow on you. I have never been so excited about a product in my life. This is seriously a game changer! I will be subscribing to the monthly re-order for sure.

We eat a low carb keto diet, which means that you definitely have to pay attention to your electrolytes because you aren't getting sodium from processed carbs/foods. I have tried quite a few, and while I like all of them, I notice the flavor of this one the very least.<br />I put about 20 drops in our large water container that we keep in the fridge to drink from, and you can't taste it at all.<br />Overall very happy with it, and the seller has fantastic customer care and service. They have reached out to me when they have sales, and to ensure that everything went well with the product. Overall very happy!

There is nothing wrong with this product. But there are products on Amazon with the exact same ingredients for 40% less. If you enjoy paying more, knock yourself out.
