I AM a negro(israelite) man with wooly hair and this has made my hair very thick and i got 3 inches in a month!!!! No lie!i combine it with horsetail extract and 10,000mcg biotin and coconut oil. It also made my melanin glow so nicely . my melanin looks like smooth silk chocolate. I use to have black spots on my face and a little bit acne and now its cleared up :). LET ME REMIND YOU...THIS BAMBOO EXTRACT IS POTENT AS HELL! I take 2 a day for 4 days a week. 1 in morning and 1 before bed :). This works ppl :). I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for thick stronger hair. I wear my hair in braids as a protective style and let me tell you I really see a difference when it came time for me to take out my braids I notice less shedding of my hair. ladies I am not telling no lie this stuff works!!!!!

Bamboo has almost 10 times the amount of silica as horsetail grass, and although horsetail grass did work for me I like the idea that taking one pill of bamboo is like taking 10 pills of horsetail grass. It still takes a long time to do it's thing, your body needs time for you to absorb and incorporate the additional silica, time to go through a full growth cycle, which for finger nails and toe nails can be a full year, so don't expect instance results, but my nails are now as hard as rocks.

I was previously using the Swanson Horsetail and before that another brand of silica for years now and I really only noticed a small difference. I even tried the liquid silica, I can't remember the name and that was better but not as much as now.<br /><br />I ordered this thinking okay not another one! Okay I'll give it a try as my hair is falling out mainly due to the "life change".<br /><br />The first thing I noticed was that I had a glow in like less than a week! I thought it was my imagination the first time I I saw it then it continued on the following days. It looked almost like I had on airtouch makeup or something, I can't explain it but my skin is brighter and I look younger. I racked my brain trying to think what was the change and I finally realized it was this Bamboo Extract. I thought okay that's a good sign, it's working for my skin.<br /><br />I bought this about 5 weeks ago and I am about to place an order again, mainly because I am catching up on all of my vitamins & herbs. Then I thought to myself, well I'm not sure if it's working for my hair, what else? Oh well as I am typing I realize my nails are longer (I cut most of them down over the past few weeks because they were weak, and probably needed to start afresh) and stronger! That has not happened with the other products, they may have grown but did not get as strong as these are now.<br /><br />The other thing is while I can't tell yet if it's working for the hair on my head, it really is causing hair to grow fast on my actual body including my eyebrows (and chin). I am definitely having to shave and pluck more often especially recently.<br /><br />Overall this is working after 5 weeks for me and that is telling me that I may even see the improvement in my hair in maybe three months. I’ve taken these faithfully for 2 months now, and I’m just NOW noticing a difference. With any supplement, you can’t miss a day, and you have to have patience. I’m 45 & my cycles ended 4 months ago. My skin suddenly dried out, my hair was dry & breaking off, all due to menopause. After 2 months, my face has more elasticity & less dryness, with a brighter look. My hair was 2 inches above my waist. It now reaches my waistline. :) And I even see baby hairs growing in around my hairline. I take other supplements too, but adding this in has helped tremendously.
