Contains undisclosed amount of vitamin E
In the 90s there was a study done attempting to prove the efficacy of vitamin E protecting from prostate cancer. The study was halted early for ethical reasons as those receiving the extra vitamin E were disproportionately being stricken with prostate cancer—the complete opposite of what the study hoped to prove. These were relatively small doses, in line with what you would find in many common multivitamins. I track my vitamin E intake very carefully. Comparing the label to my nature made D3 gelcaps, I noticed these tablets list vitamin E<br />(d-alpha tocophpheryl) under other ingredients with no quantity listed. Maybe they are going above and beyond and listing an inconsequential trace amount that other manufactures don’t list? I don’t know but i’m not going to take the chance.
