I buy this because it doesn't have soybean oil or other oils like many D3 supplements have. It's allowed me to keep vitamin D serum levels between 50 and 80, which I want to do because I've had cancer before and the vitamin exerts a positive effect on the cellular immune system. Im currently living in Washington State where you cant blink or you might miss the sun. I had run out of my other brand of vitamin D3 and had not had a chance to order more and since I normally suffer from low vitamin D I was starting to feel the symptoms which include low energy, foggy brain and the worst depression and moodiness...pretty ugly. I ordered this brand remembering that a homeopathic doctor had told me that Douglas Labs was a good brand. Within 3 days of taking this brand, I felt more energetic and happier yup my depression and fogginess started going away. Will continue to use from now on.

I only bought this because my usual brand of D3 (Xymogen) was out of stock, but I'm so glad I found this. I've had several health care providers recommend this brand, but this is better than the other pharmaceutical grade supplements for vegetarians and vegans. I can't determine if this supplement is officially vegan, but there are no dairy products or gelatin in this pill. Yay!

The only reason why I wouldn't reorder this is because it is not the coated, easy swallow pill. This is not a problem for me because it is still a small pill but my husband has trouble swallowing pills so he cannot take this.

These are my new favorite Vitamin D supp., vegan, and I just chew them. Plus my labwork is perfect, one a day, love it. Company is awesome. Lots of great stuff.

These pills raised my serum D into the healthy level I has hoped to obtain. Will definitely refill this item when necessary.
