It was recommended to me and I have found that it works really well. A major factor to me usually is taste, because if it tastes horrible I won't use it. This tastes amazing, and I wouldn't have issues just drinking as a normal beverage. Other protein drinks I have had has that creamy milky favor, and I hated all of them except for chocolate favor when mixed with milk or milk alternatives. This drink doesn't have the over whelming creamy favor and I can just use water and it tastes fine. I have tried candy watermelon flavor before as well, and that tastes good as well. However I prefer the mango sherbet.<br /><br />As far as actual recovery goes, I take this usually post workout when I will not be having a meal or meal with protein. I feel like it actually replenishes some energy that I lost so that I don't feel groggy after the work out, and I recover faster than if I had just went without any protein. I do try to actually get a full meals instead of just relying on the drink, because I feel like that is the healthier thing to do. But do I feel like I get a better recovery with the drink than just going with a meal.
