Good suppliment for ADHD/Asperger's Son

After reading and reading about omega oils sometimes helping kids with ADHD I gave it a shot. I'm not saying this will work for everyone or cure anything, cause it won't, but I do notice an improvement in my son. My son is 8 and was diagnosed with ADHD and Asperger's years ago. We have had him on stimulants ever since and I wanted to try something more natural. I wanted to give my son the best chance of the omegas helping so I looked and looked for a good 3-6-9 combo. This one is great and even has vitamin D. I found this product has the best mix of different oils from different sources and it even comes with a lemon flavor on the pill so it's not so bad to swallow. I have not noticed any fish burp or bad breath with these pills even when I take them. I know these are made for adults but if you look up this companies kid version of the pills you get alot less in the bottle total for the same price. It's a no brainer. You get the same supplement, just double the amount. If your kid has problems swallowing big pills you might need to get the kid version, but my kid is a pro at pill taking. And yes I have noticed my son is much calmer now when he is off his normal medication. He's not screaming as much and is not as impulsive. It's not a replacement for his daily stimulate but on the weekends I give him a medication break and it's as if he took his stimulant. I ran out and didn't get anymore for a few months and it was horrible. Now I give him 2 of these pills in the morning. Don't expect results right away, it took a few weeks for my son to slow down a bit, but if you are a parent with a kid like mine anything that will help is a life saver, even if it only helps a little.

High quality vitamin D and omega 3 supplement

After extensive research for a vitamin D supplements/omega 3, I decided to go with this product. This is a high quality product free of gluten, milk derivatives, artificial ingredients; it is also certified sustainable fish oil. It has no fishy taste, it actually has a lemony flavor which makes this supplement more appealing compared to other omega 3 supplements I have tried. Effectiveness: I will have to see how my vitamin D levels change in the next lab results as I have only been taking it for a few weeks. If i had to pick a downside, its that you must take 2 tablets. Arrived well packaged and on time.

Poor quality from Amazon

I have been buying Nordic for a while directly front their site and I absolutely love them! However, I noticed a huge quality difference when ordering off of Amazon. I’ve noticed this with most supplements or care items. While Nordic is absolutely fantastic, I wouldn’t suggest buying from Amazon. I don’t know why the quality is so different but it really is.

It was recommended to us by a nutritionist/behavioral counselor that we brought ...

We bought these for our son, who was having problem at school for not following instructions, forgetting things, unable to focus in class/assignments, etc. It was recommended to us by a nutritionist/behavioral counselor that we brought our son to see. It has been half a year since we started him on this fish oil supplement. It has been quite a change! He has been doing so so much better, and we are so glad we got these. I can't credit it all to the supplement. It might be also a growth in his emotional maturity, but we did start seeing him changing bit by bit when we start him on it. It is rather costly compared to other brand, but if it is a better quality product, I do not mind at all. We used to buy the gummy type of fish oil, but didn't really like the kids taking the extra sugar..

Great product and quick shipping.

Very happy with this product. Have bought Nordic Naturals products for many years now. This is the first time buying the 3-6-9 with D, as I usually get ProEFA. I like that they are 3rd party tested, which is very important to me when it comes to the purity of a fish oil for fear of mercury, etc. Of note, these only have a faint hint of a fishy taste to them. I also give them to my son to help with speech and brain function. He looks at them like they are a treat and chews them right up! I love that the vitamin D is included in these and that is why I went with this instead of the ProEFA. Decided to go with a vitamin D supplement since we don't get D from milk due to an allergy and living in a state that doesn't get a lot of sun in the winter month. Definitely will purchase again!

Complete Omega + Vitamin D w/out Fishy After Effects

LEMON flavored omega supplement with the added bonus of vitaman D! I have searched high and low for a supplement that does not result in my body breaking down the oils and the fishiness crawling right back up, only to torment me for the next 5 hours (I disgust myself as I write this review).

I have tried omega supplements in various forms; tablet, gel capsule, as well as liquid form but most led to a fishy after taste. The only other two supplements that I didn't cringe or want to vomit at the moment I THOUGHT about taking it were Nordic Naturals for Children (Ultimate Omega Junior and Children's DHA), both Strawberry Flavor and Carlson Labs Norwegian Cod Liver Oil in Lemon Flavor.

If this doesn't work for you, you may want to try a few options 1. Pop the bottle in the freezer (this is what I do and it works wonders) 2. Take it with food or 3. Take it at night before going to bed.

I hope that it works for you as it did for me! OH! Did I mention that if you are deficient in vitamin D as I am, you may be able to stop taking an additional vit D supplement?!
