Great Paleo autoimmune friendly beef protein. Zero carb, zero fat.

Great Paleo beef protein, why? Because it doesn't have any preservatives, fillers, Dairy, soy, yeast, corn, or any other additives. No artificial colorings/flavorings. That makes this product not just paleo, but also autoimmune paleo friendly, hard to find. That basically means anti alergic, you dont get the same digestive issues many people get with whey. I think beef protein is underrated, I just finished a batch and went back to my whey. The whey gives me bloating/gas that this product doesnt. Also if you don't like how the amino acid profile stacks up agains Whey protein powder you can add some BCAA to powder, at least thats what I do. In a 30 gram saving you get 28 grams of protein (zero fat and zero carb), not bad!
I don't understand why people give this product a low rating based on taste, I want to know what are your results? I also don't rate other supplemets like HMB for its awful taste, or vitamin C for being so acidic, this is pure bovine, it doesn't taste like cookie dough or pumkin pie. Anyways if you mix it with coconut milk and berries it tastes GREAT. Recommendation: keep frozen berries (blue berry, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry) in the freezer and use them as your "ice" to have a nice cool tasty smoothy, totaly auroimune paleo friendly.

Excellent Prodoct

Best stuff for building muscle. If you are worried about the taste or how well it mixes, don't bother. This stuff is for building muscle. I mix about 30 servings of Beef Protein Isolate Powder with 30 serving of plain cocoa powder and 30 serving of plain Egg white protein powder with 30 servings of stevia. Makes a great chocolate, sugar free, double source protein drink. nothing added. and don't be stupid, I don't drink 30 servings at once. Better than anything from the GN Candy factory.

Don’t do it.

Horrible. Everything about it. Tastes as if you can imagine someone grinding up a mouse or rat and then putting it into some type of oven to make it a powder. And I know a lot of people exaggerate about how a protein powders doesn’t mix well, honestly most protein powders don’t mix fully, but this… this right here… didn’t mix at all. It smells. It stinks. It tastes horrible. Makes you want to just throw up. The taste is engraved in my memory. I keep imagining me eating some type of rodent/bat/etc. if you really take the time to taste it, it’s almost like you taste some type of metal like you taste when you taste your own blood.

Don’t do it.

My New Favorite Protein Powder

BlukSupplements Beef Protein Isolate is my new favorite protein supplement. My sleight lactose-intolerance makes whey a challenge, so I was seeking something different. 30 grams of protein per 4.5 TBSP, and a great value for ANY protein isolate product! The taste is “natural”, so if you’re used to the sugary whey stuff you’ll want to blend this with blueberries or cinnamon. For regular “Supplementers” like me, it’s fine “as is.” Great paleo product at a terrific price!

Pure clean protien powder.

First and foremost if you want to order something that tastes like a milkshake and is full of artificial sweeteners and strange ingredients that you can't pronounce, this isn't for you.

The taste is, if I'm being honest, pretty gnarly. If you have a weak pallete then maybe stick with a whey or pea protein.
A few ways to combat the taste is to mix it in with eggs or a stew or soup to up the protein content, or in other kinds of cooking. Either way, clean pure protein, bulk supplements always has a high rating on all supplement testing websites so you know you aren't getting spiked with anything, and it's easy on my stomach as well, being a person who is lactose intolerant. All in all, great stuff. Highly recommend.

yuck

Not only is the taste unpleasant; it also unexpectedly gives me painful gas and diarrhea. There must be something about the processing of this protein isolate, or else even (yikes!) the beef used was going bad. I have no problem with regular beef, and another brand beef-based protein powder did not give me these symptoms even though it too smelled rancid in one package. I begin to suspect that beef protein cannot be made shelf-stable,.However that may be, I would definitely steer clear of this questionable product. I'm also going to pay better attention to the effects on me of other products from this manufacturer.
