A lot of money but worth it.
I need calories. After two months of an unexplained sickness, I had barely eaten, thrown up even water, lost about 17lbs. And was very, very scared. I need that weight. I am far too close to double digits for my comfort. With my health issues I can not afford to have no backup weight. So I looked for something high calorie but low carb and boy are these low carb. But the best part? They are delicious. Not as good as my old scandishakes (which are discontinued... how they could consciously do that I don't know) but thank God I found these. The vanilla is great, without a gross aftertaste, and the peanut butter is an interesting yummy change. But I can easily get these down and that's what counts. Just shake in a blender bottle with some milk and it's a straight up shake. I want to cry. I have a chance to get back some of the weight that was just... melting off my body. (A scary happening when you haven't moved from bed in two months) They are a bit dear.... but no more expensive than prescription nutritional shakes or other high calorie additives that taste absolutely vomit inducing. (And I've done enough of that the past two months thank you) I am thrilled to have found these. I'm going to wait a week or so until I reweigh myself to see if there is improvement. Fingers crossed. But they're flavorful, packed full of protein and nutrients and prettt high calories. I think they're great. And if they put the weight back on, totally worth the price.
