Pure Ascorbic Acid Mixed with 8 other ingredients!!!

Putting "PURE ASCORBIC ACID" on the front is very Misleading as it is not pure Vitamin C.

The other ingredients are:
Microcrystalline Cellulose
Stearic Acid
Croscamellose Sodium
Magnesium Stearate
Silicon Dioxide
Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose
Polyethelene Glycol
Titanium Dioxide

Why so many? There are other products selling the same vitamin C Ascorbic Acid with only three non-active ingredients as binders.

Other ingrediants not shown on label

I was very upset to see the label. This item contains talc and carnauba wax - neither of which is on the product label. I would not have purchased this item had they been shown on the label supplied on the amazon website.

I was very disappointed to see that this "pure ascorbic acid" supplement contains magnesium stearate, as I was looking for a Vitamin C supplement that does not contain this ingredient and it was not listed on the product info.

Contains Cancer Causing Talc as a filler!! If they removed it from baby powder for being too dangerous, why eat it in vitamins?

I really was thinking I was getting a great deal.... Then I found out they use cancer causing "Talc" as a filler. If talk is too dangerous to use in baby powder, then why would anyone want to eat it? Talc is linked to ovarian and stomach cancer. I was not able to return this product either. DO NOT INGEST TALC! It has been linked to high rates of stomach cancer in Japan where eating "Talc" powder coated rice is common and preferred.....

In case of link filtering I changed the reference to a search suggestion for those worried about the danger of ingesting a carcinogen chemically related to asbestos. search the net for "science.sciencemag.org/content/173/4002/1141.long" and "ajcn.nutrition.org/content/31/11/2017.full.pdf" for peer reviewed published studies.
