Prop 65 warning

Disappointed. I just received the product and it has the prop 65 of the state of california and the worst thing is that they do not specify it in the description.

Not the best absorbed Magnesium, would not recommend

I've tried just about every magnesium there is. This one is very sub par. I would not recommend it.

Just a thought here on where and how the conjugate bases distribute in the body as it will dictate Mg distribution.

Magnesium Threonate is effective in the nervous system because threonine is actively transported across the blood-brain barrier and thus Mg2+ comes along for the ride. For the same reasons, bis-glycinate (aka glycinate) sequesters more in the liver (glycine is used highly for phase II metabolism in the liver), taurate in muscle, malate within the mitochondria (metabolically active tissues like the kidney, liver, muscle but not the brain!), and aspartate along the vascular endothelium.

You can be specific with your magnesium supplements throughout the day but should / can supplement around 2000mg per day. Take a quality bisglycinate / taurate / malate throughout the day and a threonate at night prior to bed. Caveat with Mg supplementation - it competes with Zinc for absorption. Do not consume the two within about 1.5 hours. Supplement with Zinc with a meal and a Mg complex between meals / with snacks or before bed.

For migraines

If you suffer from migraines you should at least try magnesium. It's not a guarantee because people get migraines for all kinds of reasons. I was on all kinds of prescriptions from a neurologist for YEARS and they only got worse. I know it's not 100% because you may not be magnesium deficient but it's not expensive and if you have migraines I bet you are willing to try just about anything. It drops my blood pressure a bit so maybe check with your doctor if you have issues there but honestly, just try it. I know it sounds like crazy hippy stuff but it really changed my life literally within like a week of starting it. I really hope someone sees this and it helps them, I just want to tell everyone haha!

False advertising! Magnesium not plant-based.

There is a reason the label isn't pictured here. The magnesium is not plant-based but rather derived from plain, old seawater. While it's true that some of the product, the calcium portion, is derived from red algae; the same cannot be said of the magnesium. It is 100% seawater derived, NOT plant-based. Shame on Nature's Answer for falsely marketing a product like that.

Everyone needs this

My once deficient level of magnesium was quickly overcome... this is a great product and NOT made in a lab. Which is what you should be looking at when buying supplements.

They work great and are from the sea, perfect

I feel great when I take these magnesium/calcium capsules since I was having some lower back discomfort due to my pregnancy, mind you, you have to take 4 capsules daily, no where is that stated since you can't see the back of the bottle in the pictures they show.
