Normally even taking a multivitamin with iron in it made me puke or at least nauseated, and these do not seem to do so! It really is a miracle product for me and I will order more when I run out.<br /><br />I had to have these vitamins because I had a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy on August 14th. I took them preop as well.<br /><br />The flavor isn't too bad... it's obviously not going to taste amazing but it is tolerable and not disgusting. It tastes a lot more like Raspberry than chocolate.

Flavor is great! However, One chew is insufficient to prevent iron deficiency anemia for this roux-n-y patient. And they aren’t cost effective at all if I have to take two or more!

I love these iron bites! I have been gastric bypass post op for 8 years and these are the best iron chews I have found. I actually enjoy taking them! The don't seem to cause constipation like other iron supplements which is a huge plus for me. Definitely a thumbs up.

ok - not the easiest to chew. It is very hard like a tootsie roll or starburst that has been around awhile. You sometimes feel like you are going to relocate your jaw before you can get it down. Still it seems to be the best iron source out there. My hemeglobin dropped so low - I'm having to take 5 Rx iron pills a day now. That's much worse. I think better vitamin supplements will develop in time. Perhaps powders that combine everything and enter your system better. So much of the OTC stuff just goes through your body. Bariatric Advantage Chewables definately have the advantage over most vitamins.<br />So while I'm not 100% happy I do think they are the best out there right now

I recently had bariatric surgery and have to take vitamins of high quality. I need chewables. They all tasted so grainy chemically and fake sweet until this one. I really like the flavor - Chocolate covers alot of sins...LOL

A friend recommended these after he heard that my wife couldn't take her iron pills because they always made her sick afterwards. She tried these and is completely happy. They actually don't taste bad and they don't nauseate her. 100% happy with these!
