Some other reviewers have mentioned that the 500mg label is ...
Some other reviewers have mentioned that the 500mg label is misleading, but that's not actually true. Each tablet does contain 500mg of magnesium gluconate, but there are only 27mg of magnesium in 500mg of magnesium gluconate. As a supplement, magnesium gluconate is preferable to magnesium oxide (most if not all of the bottles of magnesium at your local pharmacy) because your body will absorb more of the magnesium in the tablet. I personally bought this to help with insomnia, and I haven't noticed a difference, but that isn't the fault of the product - I got exactly what I purchased.

Great form of Magnesium
After much research on the different forms of magnesium I decided to try the gluconate since it is more digestible than other forms and because many people said it decreased their duration and frequency of migrains. With other forms many reported having gas as a side effect. I had the same experience when I tried mag oxide. not fun. With mag gluconate, I have had no side effects and frequency of migrains has greatly decreased. It is a very good preventative solution for migrain sufferers. It is not coated, so it's a little chalky going down. So sometimes I use Pill Glide to make it a little easier to swallow, but still worth it. Mag gluconate is not at all available in my town at health food or drug stores, so thank you to this seller for this product at a good price.

Fine product, fine price.
I bought this product after trying magnesium oxide; which diesnt absorb well and magnesium citrate which was fine but didnt come in the strength I was looking for. These tablets are fine. No stomach irritation, reasonabley sized tablets that hold up well. Would purchase again.

If you are wishing to treat leg cramps, this ...
If you are wishing to treat leg cramps, this is the magnesium compound you are needing. There are several other formulations -sulfate, oxide, citrate- all with different effect on the body. One is a laxative, not what I needed!

Great for migraine sufferers
Best thing for chronic migraines! I take 1 every night before bed and within a week, my migraines were less often and now (months of taking it at this point) when I do have one, it's not nearly as bad.

Not really 500 mg
The product says 500 mg but if you look at the nutritional value on the back it is actually only 27 mg. Which is only 7% of DV.
