43 year-old male. Strenuous Workouts 4-6 times/week. In good shape. I’ve been using this for a year. Have purchased six times. I use a half-scoop daily (half recommended dose). Within the first 10 days, knee pain (among other joints) was gone. I stopped using at one point and knee pain returned. Went back on it and pain disappeared again. I’m sure the glucosamine has something to do with it but regular glucosamine supplementation doesn’t have the same effect. As an added bonus, after 2-3 weeks, I noticed my fingernails hardened (not brittle) and the seem to grow a bit faster... My skin definitely looks and feels better after taking consistently for 4-6 weeks. Unflavored isn’t exactly unflavored. If you’ve done your homework you know collagen is extracted from bone and therefore has somewhat of a bone flavor. Good news: It can easily be masked in coffee, assuming you use cream and sugar, tea assuming you use honey OR in a protein smoothie with berries. Regardless, for me the benefits are worth it. Knee pain vs no knee pain = no brainer. Someone else mentioned a body odor after taking. I noticed the same when taking 1-1.5 scoops daily. Cutting back to 1/2 scoop addressed and I’m still pain free. I’ve recommended this to several friends and I’d recommend to you.
