I tried it for the first time. I've had excellent experiences with NOW. It works as I expect. Had a lot of thoughts in bed, totally eliminated them when I got to the right dose for me, around 350mg. I use an inexpensive electronic scale that measures to the thousanth. During the day, if I'm stressing, just 200mg does it for me. Easy to manipulate the dose with powder. This brand works as advertised.

I take this before bed with magnesium. Both help me stay asleep. This was the first time I ordered it as a powder instead of in capsule form, so it can be strange to take as such (but it doesn’t taste bad). This was a cheaper alternative to capsules at the time of purchase.

I really like the powder as opposed to capsules. I take mix it in with my green tea and I am more awake and focused. It's important to remember to cycle out every so often so your brain/body doesn't get user to it.

NOW uses pharmaceutical grade in some of its products. Some companies use food grade. May work better if you take on an empty stomach so other amino acids from digested protein do not compete for entry in the brain.
