Okay Product
I decided to give this a try after hearing good things about it and the normal product I buy (On Platinum Hydro Whey) being out of stock. The taste is better than most with a little bit more of a dark chocolate taste but IMO not as good as chocolate flavored On Platinum Hydro Whey. This product boasts being better than others due to its addition of Leucine. IMO, just buy some BCAA. I buy products like this though because most regular whey powders give me allergy type symptoms; e.g. shortness of breath. This product does not give me such symptoms. I would probably give it a 4 stars (not 5 because I think it a bit over priced) if it were not for what appeared to be a piece of string I found in my powder. It was about 2 cm long and relatively thick (not like the thread you would sew a button on with (if that were the case I probably would have thought it were a hair) but like a thin yarn (multiple threads wound together to great a single strand).... The string was of course the color of the rest of the protein and it makes me wonder what else is in this stuff that is just so finely ground I can't tell the difference between it and the protein... :( As a side note, I am a single male who does not have string lying around his house or in his house at all. There is definitely no way the string got into this protein after I opened it. Well, unless someone broke into my house and put it in there. But that wouldn't explain why it was the exact same color as the protein even when pulled apart as if it had been processed with the protein itself.
