The Purest Protein on the Market

Having used protein shakes the last 15 years I haven’t come across a company like Muscle Feast that produces a cleaner protein. The Unflavored Whey Isolate and Casein proteins are roughly 92% and have none of the extra fillers used by other companies like ON and BSN. Even their Chocolate Protein Flavor is 85% and uses natural flavoring like Coca powder and Stevia to add flavor to their powder.

This all sounded too good to be true at first so I reached out to the owner of Muscle Feast *Sean Gillespie** to ask him about how they manufacture their protein powders: Please see Emails below

“Hi there, I just bought some Casein protein power off of you on Amazon. I checked your website and you don't mention where you make your products. Could you please send me information on where you make your protein products and other supplements? I need to know that I'm not buying something made in China. Also I would like the name of who inspects the quality of your products so I can check to see if it's legitimate. Thank You. Mike”

Mike, All of our protein powders come from Wisconsin. Our Dextrose, Maltodextrin and waxy maize come from farms across the US. Our Oat powder comes from Canada. Most of the amino acids and creatine originate from China (they supply about 99% of all the amino acids and creatine sold in the US; Creapure Creatine is manufactured in Germany). Japan does most of the other 1% but their quality is not as good as the product from China. I share your concerns about China. That is why we only purchase products through China from Prinova and Green Wave, Inc; both companies have full time US employees in China that verify the Chinese suppliers they are using are following US GMP procedures and they also do independent testing on the ingredients for purity. For inspections, we are regularly inspected by the Ohio Department of Agriculture and we are also registered with the FDA and subject to random inspections from them as well. **Sean Gillespie**

“Thanks Sean.
You've been very informative. I just have one other question. I've never come across a more pure protein on the Market. Your unflavored Casein is 92.7% Protein and your Whey Isolate is 92.8% Protein. How can do you make your proteins so clean and free of fillers?
Mike”

Mike, All isolate proteins will range from about 91% to as high as 95% (Ion exchange can hit 94-95%). We do not like the ion-exchange protein as it partially denatures the protein and the sodium content is really high. Most companies cut their proteins to drop the protein content down (make the product less expensive to produce) and many of them use less expensive forms of protein; like whey concentrate, sodium or calcium cassenaite. We just decided to keep our proteins as clean as possible and all natural to ensure we were putting out the best products possible.
The downside of our protein powder is that they do not thicken like other products do when you mix our proteins in water. If you put our proteins in water, the consistency of the water does not change much. We recommend taking our proteins in milk or a milk substitute.

**Sean Gillespie**

I just tried the chocolate casein protein and it mixes easily and tastes great. Just as good as chocolate milk. I would highly recommend Muscle Feast’s supplements. They are just a small company that offers outstanding customer service and are there to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to contact them at [email protected] and try their protein shakes for yourself. After years of having protein shakes with added sweeteners and fillers I know I’m going to stay with their protein shakes for years to come.

Mike

If Your Buying Micellar Casein For The Taste, You're Doing It Wrong

I learned about Micellar Casein through [[ASIN:B00D6KC8M4 The Protocol: The Best Supplements for Building Muscle Mass, How to Use Them & Why They Work!]]. ALL pure, high quality Micellar Casein tastes bad. I tried to fight this reality by buying flavored versions to suit my palate only to find upon further research that I was sacrificing quality nutrition for a momentary 30 second satisfaction of my taste buds. Guys, if you're even remotely as serious as your ideal body is about getting into the shape you want to be you have to drop the idea that every thing that works best is going to taste good. What you need to do is compare and contrast the amino acid profile of this product with that of its competitors. If you know your ass from your elbow regarding what your body needs to maintain an anabolic environment, it will be immediately obvious that this particular product is the way to go and the others are catering to the people that need everything to taste like candy. Serious bodybuilders and exercise enthusiasts are drinking stuff hourly that tastes far worse than this stuff like raw eggs and shots of L-Arginine. If they can do it, so can you. If your primary concern is a supplement that tastes good then yes, this stuff isn't for you. If what you want is the best stuff to put in your body to achieve your goals, then this product is what you want. The author of The Protocol Recommends this Micellar Casein SPECIFICALLY. I gained 15 pounds of solid muscle while on that program so if you want proof of the efficacy of this Casein there you have it.

This works great!

It absolutely works!!! Our 9 year old Mastiff has been and continues to be on long-term prednisone therapy, which causes chronic muscle wasting/breakdown. As a result, he had elevated protein levels in both his urine and circulating through his blood and looked like an old withering horse. After two weeks of giving him 1/2 scoop of Micellar Casein, (unflavored/unsweetened), in each of his 2 meals a day, the chronic muscle wasting subsided, his muscle definition returned, his urine test strips indicated greatly reduced protein levels in his urine and his BUN level went down to normal. Not only does he look as buff as a young adult, he acts like a puppy too. I've started taking it as well, because I'm over 50 and have trouble maintaining muscle mass due to my age. If the ratings allowed, I'd post 10-Stars for Muscle Feast's Micellar Casein! P.S. I haven't tried the flavored versions, but I can tell you that unflavored is virtually tasteless and can be mixed with anything without altering flavor. We will buying this forever! It's great! ********** (10 stars!)

Profile changed- WHY???

So i was a BIGGG fan of this protein. Because it was clean and the best profile out there.

But like some other previous brands i used ( and was forced to change) - they changed the profile. Without notice. Noticed the change once i received it today.

Labels changed too.

I usually like a protein, and then just click on " buy with click" because i assume things arent going to change( i mean why would you- if its working and getting good reviews)

Apparently they did. Thats dissappointing.

Especially because their ( muscle feast) proteins arent cheap.

As you can see from the attached images- the order difference between the 2 is 3 weeks( yeah thats it- i use a tub every 3 weeks- sometimes even less)

And it seems like cholestrol increased TREMENDOUSLY - i mean WTF?
Also it seems like protein decreased too( yes its small- but its still an amount)

Calcium,Vitamin A and bunch of other amino acids too.

Cholestrol is important to me as i have casein 2 times a day( 1.5-2 scoops each time)

You just lost a loyal customer.

Why muscle feast? Why?

near perfect!

Excellent quality!! Rich in BCAA's and protein, not as many fillers as most other brands, low fat, low cholesterol, low sugar, low carbs, and approximately 85% protein per scoop (compare this to other brands).

Unfortunately, mixes with difficulty in cool water. Don't even think of trying it! Mixes very well in warm water. Additionally, taste must be enhanced in the case of the natural and unflavoured product(a natural occurrence with micellar casein). So, be prepared to add some flavour. I use fruit (bananas, blue berries, blackberries), chocolate powder, vanilla extract, etc.

After 4 years using this protein, I had to change after value loss over time.

I started purchasing this product 4 years ago, in Nov. 2016 in another online store and later here at Amazon. At that time the protein content was about 91% of the weight, I was pretty happy with it since I control the amount of protein I eat, so less protein content means I have to use more product and it lasts shorter. Then a couple years ago they changed the product without any notification. They changed to grass feed, but reduced the protein content to 83% without modifying the price. But for me was an increase of 9.6% since I ingest a given quantity of protein and now I have to eat more. So, that was actually a price increase for me. That was the first problem.

Then they have been rising the price, from initial $52 to currently $66, to a point that I decided to shop around for a better product. In four years. I saw a total price increase per gram of protein of 40%. Now I have tested another Casein Micellar Protein product at the same price per gram of protein I was paying 4 years ago.

I have switched and Muscle Feast has lost a customer. Maybe if they adjust the price to be competitive again, I would return as a customer.
