I truly cannot RAVE about this product enough! And I'm not one to write reviews very often so I promise this product is something special. This protein powder is amazing and plant based. However, this is where it stops being like other vegan protein powders. This is NOT made with pea protein, so it doesn't cause unnecessary bloating and gas LOL. Truly, other vegan protein powders made me miserable (and others around me too hahaha) and I am so happy that I found this. It can also be used to make amazing protein muffins that are perfect for pre&post workouts (recipe on the package for convenience ;) ). Mary Ruth cares equally about what goes into her products, as much as what does NOT go into them. Every effort to source organic ingredients is taken, and a truly superior product is the result.<br />Other reviews have mentioned the consistency and I will say this: this powder takes some thorough mixing but it can be very smooth. I recommend using a blender if you have time, as well as a fattier nut milk like cashew or coconut. However, it is delicious and smooth in a shaker bottle with almond milk. Just shake a little longer than usual.<br />All in all, the MaryRuth Organic team is incredible! And the products they create and put out are next level. High quality ingredients and genuine care about consumers. The owner uses the products for her own family, because that's who they were created for. You should feel proud to purchase products from this company and to give them to your family. Truly a superior product line. They have great customer support if you ever have any issues. 10/10 would reccomend to my friends and family, and to a complete stranger like you reading my honest review. I am extremely disappointed. I feel like I have been ripped off. I open the can only to find it half full. $30 for a half filled container?! Seriously?! I can't even say that it tastes good because I haven't had any yet. I opened the can and my immediate response was literally &#34;What the h*ll?&#34; Come on!<br />***Updated from an original post<br />I posted the above post immediately after opening the can. A couple hours later I was contacted by Michael with MaryRuth Organics customer service. I have to say hands down they have the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and strive for excellent customer satisfaction. Their customer service is definitely 5 stars! They went above and beyond to make me happy and they did. Also I did finally taste the powder and I loved it. Finally a powder that doesn't have that gross chalky taste AND has great ingredients. My only qualm is that I still think they should either fill the can all the way up or use a smaller can. No one wants to open a product and see it half filled. Nevertheless, they did give me a full refund and replace my order AND let me keep the one I had. So for that, and a product I actually really liked, YES 5 stars.

This is the best tasting powder I have ever used and the ingredients are amazing. I was thrilled that my 4 and 6 year olds even commented on how great the taste was. I do have one problem with this product, as others have mentioned, it is half full when you open it which makes you feel like it is a very expensive product. I understand things settle but there is no way this has settled that much. I would to see a little more product in the can or even a smaller can.<br /><br />Update to my review - after this, I was contacted by a company representative. She explained that they are looking for a better technology but for now the can needs this much air to create a flow to keep the powder from spoiling because there are no preservatives. Wonderful company!

At first I jumped right in and started using a full scoop. It's powerful stuff and my 60 year old body didn't know what to do! I thought I couldn't tolerate it, and felt badly about that. But, when I gave it another go, I started over, gradually increasing from 1/4 scoop to a full scoop, and now I want to use this every day. I must wear partials, so it is sometimes difficult to get all the protein I need from meat as it is difficult to chew. This supplement solves that problem for me. I love the light chocolate flavor and the delicate sweetness and I often use it on top of oatmeal or other cooked grains. As for the quality of protein, in my opinion it is far superior to the whey based protein powders Wal Mart sells and basically all the other types out there, and I've tried a lot! Although this is not sold as a meal replacement, it surely can be when added to a bit of fruit or greens. It is delicious in smoothies and makes a great &#34;chocolate&#34; milk when blended with milk or milk substitute. It is a real pleasure to deal with this company directly and I look forward to trying as many of their products as possible. I give them 10 stars on all levels!

Just had my first shake made with Mary Ruth Organic Protein Powder. I am surprised at how enjoyable it was! I have tried my fair share of shakes and having this be 100 % vegan left me sceptable . However the flavor was enjoyable it was not chalky and best of all did not leave a nasty after taste in your mouth like some supplement shakes do! I mixed with 8oz unsweetened califa almond milk
